12U in Deer Park Feb 28-29

by sftballjnkie » Wed Feb 18, 2009 8:00 am

Looks like this one might be a chance to see who is shaping up to be serious contenders in STexas. 27 teams signed up and looking for another 3.

Peppers
Sting
RedHots
Fury
and a couple more that might make some noise before the Bomber tournament. Might be a fun weekend

Kaos 98 picked a good one to start with. They best have there cleat's strapped on tight for this one. I bet TPS wish they could jump in this one instead of hosting.

Isn't FB Thunder still trying to find a bracket pitcher? Is this a #2 or #3 pitcher for the rotation?

The other site says they are looking for a pitcher and that they returing their entire roster. They have had good success for a long time with the 2 bracket pitchers they have, 1 hard thrower and 1 off speed junk baller. I am guessing any new pitcher joining a rotation for any team would have to earn their stripes and could turn out to be a #1, #2 or a #3 depending on their ability and success. Peppers have 3 pitchers, I would not call any of them the #2.

That's what I meant..... a 3rd pitcher as opposed to a #3. My mistake. I've not seen them play in awhile and look forward to seeing them and some others at that tournament.
