Shades of Ray Finkle - Laces out, Dan!

Laces were also "in" on an earlier FG he made. I think the tilt of the held ball was a bigger problem.

I think I'm beginning to hate football. First the Squeelers win on absolute bullshit and then that USC puke Carrol wins on a missed chip shot field goal. I am not having a good post season...

Don't be a hater, Battle. The Steelers won fair and square.

I never said they cheated, just BS starting with the fumble. The hit was not a dirty helmet to helmet and never should've been called that lead to the Bungles acting like idiots. It was a win but even Rothlessbooger knew it was a BS win...

I don't follow the BS logic, sorry. They forced the fumble that led to the last drive. They converted on 4th down. And unlike the Vikings Kicker they made the FG to win the game.

And I call BS on Ben R saying it was BS. Never happened... ;)

Shazier's hit on Bernard should have been flagged - period. Literally adding insult to injury was ruling a fumble on the play. That non-call clearly inflamed the Bengals and exacerbated their reaction to the call on Burfict's hit. OTOH, Rothlisberger was injured 3 plays later.

Burfict tempted fate by running off the field and down the tunnel after his interception.

Karma is a bitch...

I said myself when the play happened that Shazier should have been flagged for spearing, but the bottom line is that one play does not win or lose a game. Perhaps if the vaunted Bengals Defense had stopped the Steelers running game that was led by their 3rd and 4th string RBs the game would have been different. And if they had stopped the Steelers on 4th and 3 on the last drive this wouldn't even have been a conversation.

Bottom line is that the Bengals didn't do enough to win and the Steelers live to limp into Denver to face the #1 D in the NFL and a rested and revitalized Peyton Manning.

The only game that matters is in February. All of this is just fodder.

That said, by the grace of the football gods I did go 4-4 on my picks this weekend.

My picks for next week (chosen by me before the playoffs started and will not change despite injuries) are Pittsburgh, NE, Seattle and AZ.

Pitt and Sea to the SB. I'll reserve my SB pick till right before the game. And yes, there is a chance if this is the matchup that I could pick against my favorite team.

EDIT: And they both acted like idiots and had bad karma coming their way, but yeah, probably Burfict and the Bengals more so.

To further illustrate to you just what a cheap shot artist he is and to show a little tit for tat when it comes to penalties that should have/could have been called that weren't, check out this video of the sack on Roethlisberger where he got injured from USA Today: http://steelerswire.usatoday.com/2016/0 ... after-all/

Notice that the knee is to his injured shoulder as well.

Where did you post your KC and GB picks? You surely don't expect us to take your word on them...

My picks for next week (chosen by me before the playoffs started and will not change despite injuries) are Pittsburgh, NE, Seattle and AZ.

What the heck, I'll go opposite - Den, KC, Carolina and GB - even though NE and AZ are favored by more than Den and Carolina.

Yes, I expect you to take my word for it. I'm not a liar.

But if you need proof the best I can do is give you "Exhibit A" which is a spreadsheet of my Playoff Fantasy Football Team on a site called FanTrax. Notice that of the 22 available roster spots and 11 Reserve Spots (Yes this is a more elaborate and difficult game than the standard games out there) I only carried 1 Hou, 1 Min, 1 Was and 1 Cin player while carrying multiple players from the 4 winners.

I didn't call you a liar, just pointed out the lack of facts in evidence for your claim.

I'll accept your fantasy player picks and not ask for Exhibit B.
