I have already seen the positive performance with the CF5 and her previous Easton, I was just looking to replace her bat and save a few bucks
I know - that is unheard of in travel ball, right? I had hoped that with all the BB teams using these bats, maybe I'd get some positive input to put my mind at ease with the purchase. I'm going to take the silence as just that......silence. Like the Emperor's New Clothes. Apparently there is a gag order
I guess I will just have to pony up, because a deal isn't a deal unless it's actually a deal.
My kid has used the Frenzy 3.0 and now a whiteout. The Frenzy was hot but went dead in about 6 months. The whiteout is hot, and supposed to be end loaded, but feels balanced. Coming from a CF5 Insane to a Whiteout End Load the Whiteout feels balanced.
So if you go the Mizuno route I'd watch for the sizes as I would compare the -10 insane to a -9 End Loaded Whiteout.
A lot of teams are being sponsored by Mizuno, and so you're seeing a lot of those bats in the wild.
