I have golf clubs and fishing gear that have been long ignored. I used to really enjoy fishing and playing golf.

Both will see some attention once the DD is either off to college or hangs up her spikes.

When my kids finished playing I was extremely concerned about my wife. I hate shopping but I went out and bought 2 long knitting needles. Ever since then whenever my wife is struggling to cope I just start stabbing myself with the needles so the pain and noise from my screams distract me from the sound of her voice.

Works like a charm.
