And aspirin is a gateway drug to crank.

Some coach slaps the shit out of my kid and it won't be handled by some governing committee, you can bank on that.

I think at one point Anonlooker was someone that contributed posts with substance.
Those days are apparently long gone. Now we're subject to his "humor" over the humorless.
Thanks for nothing. Really

This is a cheap personal shot like the video. JMO
Make a case, an argument, have fun with it.
He and I may disagree on this subject, he can even call me a pitchforker, but we wabbitz stick together.
Anonlooker pull yourself together. ;)

Nothing cheap about it, that'll be $100 for quoting my literary genius!

Yeah but Happy Days aired for 6 more seasons after the season in which the jumping of the shark episode occurred!

Besides, we got nothing else juicy to talk about on HB during the slow season. Or do we...? :?

Nothing juicy to talk about? Does that mean you won't be sharing your vast insight on The Coming Apocalypse in Softball?

Well then, since you're so concerned with role models, maybe you could put your literary genius to work and share insights into your perfect life! Things only you and other perfect people know, on topics like:
Ten Steps to the Perfect Life
Hubris Is Your Friend
The Secret Behind My Perfectly Perfect Smile (Teaser : It's the Anal, Boys!)
How To Become A Sanctimonious Prick in Thirty Days (Or Less!!)
Perfection For Dummies (Yes, That Means You!!!)

And when you take a break (on the off chance you tire of telling others how to live) maybe you could get your perfect pal Sam to share some stories from his autobiography "Do As I Say, Not As I Do - Tales of Hypocrisy." He has shared snippets of that before, but since things aren't juicy enough for you guys, maybe now is a good time for a refresher.
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.

Who plugged you in? Oh...that would be me.

Thank you, Sam. It really is quite simple...there is the truth and those that choose to close their eyes to the truth.

Forgive me for not being able to see what is apparently quite simple. Fortunately, it is "the truth", so maybe you can help me open my eyes to it. The good news for me, is that I understand the concept of "truth". Just to make sure, I checked the dictionary, and I'm spot on:

- the property (as of a statement) of being in accord with fact or reality

Here's my check list of truths regarding the incident so far:

- The pitcher threw a ball that hit the ump in the face mask.

- The act seemed intentional (not quite a truth, but close enough for this discussion).

- The incident was captured on video. Many have seen and discussed this video.

Beyond that, I see a lot of maybes and opinions. What do you have in the way of "truth" that will open my eyes? I wouldn't ask, but you said it was simple, so it shouldn't take you much effort.

Thanks

Nope...just nothin' for you. I'm sure I have this effect on quite a few people (maybe all of them), but frankly, you kinda bore me.

Nothing personal...just the way it is.

Have a good one!

You wouldn't know interesting if it hit you in the face with a shovel. Nothing personal...just the way it is.

How many different people in this thread have been on the receiving end of unprovoked personal commentary from you so far? I stopped counting at 4. Nothing personal? From what I've seen, personal is pretty much all you've got.

You are to Jtat as the Jerry Springer Show is to a grad level philosophy seminar...so it's hardly surprising that you find him boring. The amusing tidbit is that you apparently believe that reflects poorly on him.

Have a good one!

Look at big brother Skarp jumping in to protect Jtat...so cute.

Unprovoked? Really now Skarp...

Yes, poor Jtat the innocent.

Before you leave the house today take a quick look in the mirror.

And for Pete's sake...stop acting like I'm the devil of HB.

BTW...the "truth" is IT WAS WRONG...VERY, VERY WRONG.

600,000 cringing YouTube viewers and counting...
