You guys are hilarious! Yes, I am very proud of my girls. I don't think I'll ever stop loving and believing in them. No matter how obnoxious you all think it is. :ugeek:

3BSNAG Thank you, I appreciate your comment.

Good for you :)! I do lay odds you mellow with the obvious over-the-top hyperbole as you get some experience in this sport though. Softball message boards would not be as fun if it wasnt for the 10Uish parents posting this type of stuff. Its great!

I know it's hard to believe. I was blown away by the results also. We were at 5 Star Sports Academy in Fountain Valley CA in mid September. She threw 15 fastballs measured by a Bushnell radar gun. Half were 41-43 the other half 45mph. She threw a 10" ball that day just before batting practice. During Fountain Valley Winter rec-ball Dani dominated the 8U division, which traditionally has some very strong teams Trabuco Hills, Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, West Grove. Many of those teams were moving up to 10's. Look at her video, it will give you an idea of her ability. Her hitting is outstanding also. She lead the team in hitting. The team had 7 girls moving up to 10's. Her batting AVG was .429 her SLG was .667 and her OPS 1.238. By the way my other kid was playing for Nemesis this weekend. #3 one hopped one to the left center fence during the game against Crush in her first at bat. She is also incredibly strong and incredibly talented. Little sis wants to be like big sis.

"Tell em" Quik...the little towns that play in that league has turned out some of the biggest names in the sport. Watley , Lowe , Freed , Jung , Berg...somebody stop me.

Nice video...you don't need a radar in 8U's. Look at the girl in the on deck circle, if she is crying that means the pitcher's throwing gas.

In 8u, if the girl on deck is crying it probably means she'd rather be home playing with dolls than out here doing this "stupid sports thingy" her dad is making her do!
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.
