Sometime I wonder if you actually watch softball?? One thing is for sure you sure love CV Synergy. I wont even comment of the rest of you 5 - 10

What's your list Junkie? I'd put AASA on there or Foothill Gold '00 instead of synergy?

I have been trying to put something together with a lot of notes on each team and just haven't had the time. Here is what I have to round out the year I would have liked to have had more detail on each team but this will have to do. Remember I tend to look at the long term play and not one weekend. I typically do not bounce teams all over based on how they played in a single tournament.

I would also like to say thank you to all of you who sent PM's and who have been feeding me info all season to help. It has been a lot of fun. Most of us all start tourney play in about a month. Until then be safe and enjoy you time off.

1. Salinas Storm: In the top teams all season. Placed highest at PGF

2. Grapettes K: Very competitive with Salinas Storm all season Played very well at PGF as well.

3. Rocklin Hype: Had the number of the teams below all season competed well against the top 2 all year

4. Clovis Rocket Millar: Did well all season could throw a blanket over 3 and 4

5. Foothill Gold 00: Finished 33rd at Nationals congrats great team played hard all year

6. KG Hitters: Solid through the line up would have liked to see them at PGF

7. CA Rapids: Had a pretty good overall week at PGF played well all season

8. Team CA: Had a hard week at PGF but still had a winning record against all of the teams below.

9. Lady Magic: Went out to the lil sister, not the way they wanted to finish but they started to play together a show something towards the end of the season.

10. NC Valley Stompers: Strong team good pitching also played well all season

11. LTG Lions: Placed well at PGF but I have never made big moves with teams on one tourney. Very good 01 team all year

12.Grapettes E: Stong with small ball all season had a good pitching staff. Injuries hurt this team on and off all season

13. OBS Monarchs Cat: Very strong #1 pitcher played well all year beat those who they should along the way. No big surprises

14. Foothill Gold 01 Pretty well coached, strong number 1 pitcher with some solid bats in the line up.

15. CV Synergy Because they qualified for PGF I threw them on the list. Pretty hot and cold all year but played well when it counted

What happened to Storm and Grapettes K? Did the teams disband or did they just change orgs?

My opinion- top 4 are legit! Along with Lady Magic, Ltg Lions.
Without a shadow of a doubt all 6 of those teams wanted to compete at PGF Nationals. If they did or didn't they got exposéd to real high level softball. If your coach is hesitant of going down south then u should find another coach.

So if I'm understanding you correctly Real Talk, is that the Rapids and Team California went down to PGF to "not" compete! I'm pretty sure that neither club hesitated about going to PGF, and I know for a fact that both teams played to win.

Just curious.....how many legit orgs and good coaches leave it up to a vote by the parents

I couldn't agree more. Maybe someone should have told a few Nor Cal teams they were just there to go to the beach. TC wouldn't have had to mess around with that silly 11 inning ITB game with Hype on Wednesday. Rapids wouldn't have had to beat LTG 11 0 in their game and don't forget CV Synergy who doesn't get a lot of love even from me. They didn't have to kick Hype's ass on Tuesday to force the TC - Hype game to start with.

It is true, rapids (NFC) I say they are headed in the right direction. I heard they were toggling between western and pgf. But because they decided to go to PGF and with their new name they are headed in the right direction. I would agree Rapids are there. But, u cannot second question if ur going to PGF. Definatly, shouldn't be up to the parents, coaches need to tell them upfront. (This is our goal, and were going!)
But to be honest, to freakin watered down in the sac area. To compete down south u got to merge 2 teams together. Rapids/ Team CA. (Would be nice)
Need to get Grade A Athletes together and go kick some butt.
