New 10U Head Coach for Breeze has history

Just wanted to put it out there to all the new parents getting involved in travel ball, please do your research on your head coaches and organization before you sign up or go to a try out. New 10U Coach at Breeze is a good coach but has been forcefully asked to resign from her Head Coaching job at a local high school in the Roseville area.

oh my, the Roseville High coach? now that I look at the breeze website, that is who this is. is she out at Roseville High? pretty big family coaching name (and playing) in this area. Wonder whats up, please expand.

OP obviously has issues with JB... I think it is funny how people jump on here and run their mouths like it is truth just hoping they find anyone who will listen. "Forcefully asked to resign" You are a douche Bag!!! Did they put her under the hot light till she couldn't take it or did the go right to electric shock treatments. She has been coaching high school very successfully for a number of years. If you want a 10u coach who is going to teach the game the way it should be and push your daughter to the next level Breeze 10u will probably be a good option. As for the org that is another thing so like it some don't, however the coach won't be the issue.

I think you are missing the point to my posting. As a parent in the world of social media and the means to have information immediately available to you. Everyone on here posts info for the rest of the softball community to see in a discreet manner so your player does not suffer any consequences of your actions. If I was new to the softball world and a parent had factual information regarding a coach, I would hope that info would be readily available. I understand completely, Birch was an amazing coach, she has coached for many years, although the past season did not end well. The team did great, took 3rd in their league. That is not my point. She made inappropriate comments and gestures to many of the players that had her removed from the program. If she was that great of a coach and mentor her tenure should have made that situation go away. Her history and reputation should have allowed for her to keep her job. But it didn't. The proof was so great that she was asked to resign. As a parent, knowing this info and then seeing, right after she was asked to resign, a posting for her tryouts with 10 year old girls, I thought I should share my findings.

I don't see where it says she is the head coach. What happened to Ruben? Great guy, better coach. Don't think he'll sit around and let her destroy his team. Don always seems to have two coaches at 10U. One to coach the current team and one to take over when that coach moves up to 12's.

If you're to afraid to post your name our what exactly you're accusing this Coach of' why should we listen to you?

If you "have to post discreetly so your player won't suffer any consequences", you probably should refrain from making that post!!!! If you are afraid of the consequences that your mouth will create, maybe keeping your mouth shut is thee wiser option! If this was applied universally, the world just might be a better place!

On the other hand, if something was to happen to one of the girls and nobody had spoken up, we all would be asking why nobody had stepped up and warned the parents ahead of time. At least we have some information and can do our homework and make a decision for ourselves now. Sure, it seems cowardly to post anonymously but I'm glad it was posted.
