Jon, I wasnt referring to teams on the field, but by TCS, USSSA, and PGF off the field. As the article states, this was about ASA (Team USA) vs USSSA (Pride).

They will do fine on the field without Ricketts. But they really did need her to be the face of ASA as Cat and Jenny and Lisa and Dot have been.

Agree they would be better with her- not sure if she handled the situation that well either

It looks to me like she handled it exactly the way she said she would handle it all along. It sounds like ASA pulled their britches up over their belly and said "Look here lil' lady you will do it our way or the highway." They just picked the wrong Lil' Lady to pull that crap on.

They wanted a commitment and she was not willing to commit. Don't see her chomping out as a winner since she is not playing on the team. Strikes me as a pissing contest on both their parts

Anyone know how much they get paid?

They were expecting her to commit to 4 years when all the other players only needed to sign a 2 year deal.

I can only imagine that there is not much money in it.

As usual, ASA can't get out of their own way....you also have to scratch your head when considering some of the other selections they made to this team....morons and practioners of the GOB club.
