I would agree as well. Our league had only 3 teams in 12u this year and we had to travel. However, the issue was not travel ball that we had to deal with but, with club soccer and volleybally teams.

My youngest dd's age group in 10u have been hit by club volleyball, soccer and basketball.

I hadn't thought about other club sports playing apart of it. We have a young lady on our own team who played two club sports. Our coach believes at 10's they should be trying to find their niche. She kept all her commitments to our team and she's a great kid. Her other club team, is basketball. They wanted her to pick one. She held out for a while but eventually she picked softball.

Is this also a new trend? Having to pick one sport at 9 and 10?
