Huntington Beach brings in Tony Rico

Tony Rico moves into HS ranks as an assistant coach at Huntington Beach HS, according to Carlos Arias at OC Varsity. That's a pretty good assistant coach.

I think Tony has plenty of fields to choose from and even if he is there for the fields, who cares!! The use of fields for him helping out is a pretty good trade off. How many HS coaches do you know that don't use their HS fields for their own personal use? He's definitely not doing it for the stipend. It's a perk that comes with the job. I'm sure he's not receiving any compensation and that the HS team probably gets to use his cages too so if he does use the fields, I don't see anything wrong with it.

Did HB get their own fields? I know when my daughter coached there they used city fields that were next to the high school.
