I haven't seen Moody play this year but they are always well coached and can usually hit the ball pretty well. Their weakness this year would be lack of competition, lots of run rule games, though they go play with the big dogs in pre-season tournaments.

Expect Foster/Elgin to be a showdown. Eglin took down the D1 loaded Eagles last week and take on a strong Foster team with several D1 commits (2 P, C, SS, OF)

You can also head to Alvin Friday and watch RP vs.LCM. Strong pitching and hitting from LCM vs the speed from the "track team"

Foster takes Elgin 6-2 in game 1, Ridge point takes LCM 2-0 in game 1.
I think we see the future......

#1 & #2 pitch nicely. Lots of K's with out much batter contact at all. RP moves on!!!

Was able to catch a game of Hays vs. Moody and today's Elgin vs Foster games.

Foster is a solid team, it was fun watching them play. Elgin gave them more troubles then they thought from reading and listening. I look for Elgin to be solid in the future.

Hays and Moody was a little bit different. The Hays pitcher is tricky and their defense was solid. I am not familiar with the C.C. teams but Moody has some solid and very athletic players. (Hays won)

Looking forward to the State tournament.

You were right....Moody is just a few players away...They have a SS (don't know her name) that can hit very well and has a great glove. Their #3 batter was also impressive.

BTW....congrats to your daughters this season, I got to watch them during a series and really enjoyed the way they played.

Thanks - the Moody coach's brothers were my kids hitting instructors since they were 10 or so. Who are you going to go watch next ?
