I say take out Elk Grove Thunder and put Norcal Smackers in there. They beat 2 teams on that list at the Kickoff. But if no one is watching the 10s, it's going to be hard to say much about any of them. Plus they're 10. Does any list matter anyway??

The Spring Swing 10u tourney in Folsom just concluded. The CA Breeze 8-runned the KG Hitters in 5 innings to win the tourney. It appears the Breeze have vastly improved from the Fall season and are the team to beat. There were some good NorCal teams playing here. The Fresno Force played very well and so did the NorCal Smackers. The OBS Monarchs have a few good players also; their ace pitcher and 2nd baseman are very good. The Bears surprised a lot of people with their good hitting.

Breeze, KG, Force & Smackers battled hard this weekend and will continue to battle all summer. Monarchs getting a lot of hype for going 1-3 and getting bounced in the first game on Sunday by Team CA and only scoring 1 run. Got shut out twice in pool play. #1 pitcher is the only thing keeping them from being a B team.

It looks like the Monarchs coach is already looking for a replacement player. Isn't it too early in the season to be looking for the next best thing?

I would agree, The California Breeze is the Team to beat, with that said I also analyzed the new Team at the RR Gold Tournament. We seen their ace Pitcher is awesome, now second base was spotted crying, C'mon there's no crying in softball, they have a good team. I can't comment on this weekends events but just from the comments it sounds like the real team was out on vacation. Will have to see as the season progresses.

@ LockDown I believe they go by Monarchs or OBS Monarchs. Great team, the main coach looks like he knows this game.

Cray...1 run in 3 games in a 10U tournament??? You call that a "great team"? Maybe great kids and great parents but not a great team. It doesn't matter how big a vacation the Monarchs took, if that's all you got for any weekend you got a lot of work to do.

I did say California Breeze is the team to beat, I was just stating what I seen a few weekends ago. I'm just a spectator commenting on a few post. Any team can take a champion if they play like they want it. Good luck to all the teams! Just a spectator looking in..
