Cy-fair pitcher is Mariah Gibson -senior they have had on varsity for 4 years...but high school coach is who she is so she didnt pitch her often. Kid is committed to Blinn.

I wish I could see them play, they obviously are good being ranked so high and winning so many games. I do not live in the area, but if I get in the Houston area I would like to see Cy Fair and Pearland play. Thanks Softball Mom!

What about Deer Park? I know that they lost some players from last year. I see they have a
very good freshman pitcher, how has she performed?

She is 11-1 with 1 save. Been holding down the Fort well. The Junior has finger and forearm issues. Suppose to go back to Doctor this week. Hasn't been healthy ALL season (Junior). Finger has been main issue (index) she started taking it off ball using more middle finger to be able to pitch which caused Forearm pain.

Gotta believe the defending 5A champs Deer Park will be in the hunt.

negative, they will be lucky to make the playoffs.

Because of week district, they will make playoffs but won't get past the second round. IMHO of course. Now, that team from Pearland has been smoking, but then again, thier district is really weak except for Alvin and Manvel. Pearland will have their hands full next Friday when they play Manvel.

They just keep on rolling along. Tough team to contend with.

Man do they have the wool pulled over a lot of peoples eyes. But we will keep waiting to see where they are in the end.

Close game tonight vs Manvel, but looks like you were right. Will be great to watch the season unfold.

I came down to see the game last night. Peatland is a good team. They were clearly out coached. Pearls d will lose to teams with better coaching.
