SoCal Wicked Black/USA A's 12U Valentine's Tournament Result

Thank you to all the teams that participated in this weekend's tournament and for your patience and understanding with all the field changes. We unfortunately had to cancel the 14U division but had a great weekend of 12U softball. Congrats to Corona Angels-Tyson and VC Venom as they were Co-Champs of the tournament. Due to ITB's we got backed up on a couple of brackets which prolonged the wait and forced the Co-Champs. Great games for a great cause and again Thank you for all of you who participated. The completed bracket is attached below.

Take 1st place in your pool and get rewarded by having to play 5 STRAIGHT GAMES with no game break to win it all. Not to mention not being able to play championship game because of delay. Great job organizing this tournament.

Thanks Spaz for the logical explanation. Some people aren't competent enough to read a schedule. Just to clarify a few things for those bitter parents. I received a call late Saturday afternoon/evening informing me that I could not use the other high school on Sunday due to the fields not being playable. I had to reconfigure the schedule accordingly. We had one game go two hours at LHHS which caused the delay. The Corona Angel coach approached me after their semi-final game informing me that they couldn't wait the hour and fifteen minutes because he has players from all over. I can not force anyone to stay. I respect their decision as many of his students had school yesterday. Its not the end of the world and if you were there you would have saw some great games throughout the day. Thanks again to everyone who participated this past weekend.

Very funny blue 1956. Thats what happens when u have tourney an u try to squeeze 20plus teams in 2 days and think ur not gonna have delays. Hey spazdad th whole point of pool play is to win ur bracket and not play 3 or 4 games in a row dont matter what time u start.

we were bummed that we were told our game was 815 sun am. then we started to get there at 7. some kids running late. us included. 45 min drive for us.... all to find out our game was reschedualed to 715.... at 715 we only had 7 players on the field. one more running in from the parking lot..... all for the blue to say we had to forfiet......... that stunk.. we just wanted to play
