Piers Morgan is a media substitute to an ambulance chasing lawyer...I enjoy Ted, he does grate on my nerves sometimes...But Im happy to have his support...and I'd back him for office...imagine an exchange in Senate with Harry Reid?...

Morgan needs to go his ass back to the UK, who by the way said they didnt want him back...
He was in a room, full of guns, with a bunch of men who hates his guts...and he survived...Lets see him go to downtown a few nights to Deeeeetroit or Chicagostan where there's gun control restrictions and survive?

This Dad is absolutely correct.

I not sure if you have been following this story, the MSM has mostly ignored it.

U.S. gift of F-16 fighters headed to Egypt, despite Morsi's harsh rhetoric

Four F-16 fighter jets left the U.S. this morning, bound for Egypt as part of a foreign aid package critics say should have been scrapped when the nation elected a president who has called President Obama a liar and urged that hatred of Jews be instilled in children.

A source who works on the naval air base in Fort Worth, Texas, confirmed the departure of the state-of-the-art fighter planes to FoxNews.com. Sixteen F-16s and 200 Abrams tanks are to be given to the Egyptian government before the end of the year under a foreign aid deal signed in 2010 with then-Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, a longtime U.S. ally

So, America is sending 16 Falcon fighter jets and 200 Abrams tanks to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt — known sponsors of terror. Why are we giving assault weapons to terrorists, while at the same time, taking small arms away from we the people? Does it make sense? I don't think Morsi would pass our background check for a handgun, but obama is giving him is 16 Falcon fighter jets and 200 Abrams tanks.

Report on this, Piers.

Why are we selling anything to the Muslim brotherhood? They can use these against Isreal, right?

My point is that we are more stringent to our own citizens than our sworn enemies.....

We are sellining to the Egyptian military who have been our staunch allies and who want nothing to do with attacking Israel. Plus it does not look like the Muslim brotherhood will be in power much longer.

Also- the tanks and planes are less sophisticated than what we sold Israel

Would it be not prudent to wait until the Muslim brotherhood are out? A lot has changed since the deal was first made.

No- because I would rather have them be dependent on US than from buying from China or Russia(plus it keeps the SUEZ Canal open for our warships)

2- Less sophisticated means that they are that much more likely to be burning hulks if they do go against Israel

Egypt already has 1000 M1s here is who we have sold them to- before we deliver to Greece I would get the cash up front!

Australia – Australian Army: 59 M1A1 (AIM) configuration (hybrids with a mix of equipment used by US Army and Marine Corps tanks, without depleted uranium layers in armor) tanks were bought from the United States in 2006, to replace the Leopard AS1 in 2007.[84]

Egypt – Egyptian Army: 1,005 M1A1s. Tanks co-produced by the US and Egypt for the Egyptian army.[85] Another 125 Tanks have been ordered.[86]

Iraq – Iraqi Army: 140 M1A1Ms (downgraded, without depleted uranium layers in armor). Iraq was leasing 22 US Army M1A1s for training in 2008.[70][87][88][89] The first 11 tanks were delivered to the Iraqi Army in August 2010.[90] All were delivered by August 2011.[91] In October 2012, it was reported that six more tanks were being delivered.[92]

Kuwait – Kuwaiti Army: 218 M1A2s (downgraded, without depleted uranium layers in armor)[93]

Saudi Arabia – Saudi Arabian Army: 373,[94] To be upgraded to M1A2S configuration in Saudi Arabia.[94] 69 more M1A2S tanks ordered on 8 January 2013, to be delivered by 31 July 2014.[95]
United States – United States Army and United States Marine Corps have received approximately 8,725 M1, M1A1 and M1A2 variants combined.[57][96]
US Army
1,547 M1A2 and M1A2SEP variants[96]
4,393 M1A1 variants[96]
2,000 M1 variants[96] US Marine Corps
403 M1A1[96]
[edit] Potential operators

Greece – Hellenic Army: 400 ex-U.S. Army M1A1 tanks have been offered to Greece.[97][98]
Morocco – Royal Moroccan Army: 200 excess M1A1s were requested in 2011. US DSCA notified Congress of a possible Foreign Military Sale for upgrades in June 2012. The proposed sale is for enhancement to Abrams tanks to the Special Armor (SA) configuration, refurbishment of Abrams tanks, and associated parts.[99][100]
Republic of China – Republic of China Army (Taiwan): According to a report, the Government of the Republic of China is considering placing an order for 200 used M1A1s from the U.S.[101]

Yeah, we'll see about the Suez Canal......

My original point is that this administration is more threatened by John Q and his gun than the Muslim Brotherhood.
