Is PS a 96 team or a mix?

It is my understanding that PS 96 is actually an all '96 team.

Due to an unfortunate kick ball accident  , PS 96 needed to pick up a catcher and she is a 97. The rest of the girls are 96's.

Wow, thanks for all your hard work on that. I will let my team know that the research has been completed. All scientific data has been compiled. The results are in and your attempts at greatness have been futile. They have been waiting your opinion with utmost anxiousness. They will be totally crushed not to be a top five local team. Hang up your cleats girls your fastpitch future has been decided by NASA's softball team ranker. Get a life dude.

I seriously have no idea...

Did any of the "top 12u teams" from your rankings finish in the top ten as a young team at 12u nationals last year?

If that's the case, then I do believe they have accomplished something to date...
If not, what are those accomplishments you are referring to? just curious...

Please don't mention 10u as travel ball is very limited in terms of true accomplishment due to a shortage of teams at that time in my opinion...

As a follow up to my last post...I am familiar with 1994 teams...So to review the most recent 12u teams, here goes...

the top teams for the last 3 years have been Victory USA, Corona Angels and Lakewood Ladies '94...

Their accomplishments are as follows...
Victory USA
-2005...finish 9th at 12u nationals as young 12u team
-2006...finish 1st at 12u nationals
-2007...finish 2nd at 14u nationals as a young team

Corona Angels
-2006...finish 3rd at 12u nationals
-2007...finish 3rd at 14u nationals as a young team

Lakewood Ladies
2006...finish 2nd at 12u nationals
2007...finish 1st at 14u nationals as a young team

Notice I dont mention Fresno, USSSA, AFA, Chino, T4T...etc... the proof is in the pudding at NATIONALS... its all fun and stuff to speculate, but the rankings don't mean a thing until youve competed and succeeded at the highest level...which is ASA Nationals

IMHO...Those were/and still are "A' teams...If you want to be an "A" team... then accomplish something legitimate first... otherwise... you're a "B" team at best...

Having just exited that age group, I used to see teams "ranked high" but then choke at Nationals... so were they still "A" teams? of course not...it's cause they never were an "A" team to begin with except in the feel good world of rankings

Again... IMHO =o)

Thats funny...gives me confidence in the rest of the post

Did any of the "top 12u teams" from your rankings finish in the top ten as a young team at 12u nationals last year?

NO

If that's the case, then I do believe they have accomplished something to date...

sorry current second year 12's have not accomplished anything to date

Victory USA
-2005...finish 9th at 12u nationals as young 12u team
-2006...finish 1st at 12u nationals
-2007...finish 2nd at 14u nationals as a young team

Corona Angels
-2006...finish 3rd at 12u nationals
-2007...finish 3rd at 14u nationals as a young team

Lakewood Ladies
2006...finish 2nd at 12u nationals
2007...finish 1st at 14u nationals as a young team

Did the Corona Angels and Lakewood Ladies not finish in the top 10 in 2005 as first year 12's? That must mean they did not succeed according to your post. Perhaps that was left out on purpose? or those 2 teams were new teams formed as second year 12's? Please help me to understand.

Thanks for your review.
I'm gonna take this right foot, and I'm gonna whop you on that side of your face...and you wanna know something? There's not a damn thing you're gonna be able to do about it!

No... neither LL or CA finished in the top 10 as young 12's... and i would doubt very seriously, they would say they were an "A" team that year...

I said on several occassions during my posts it was my opinion...really nothing more...

Don't get me wrong... the rankings are fun... it's excitement about our kids activities, which is a good thing...

Again though, IMHO... the true "A" teams accomplish things when it counts on the field against the best competition, under the greatest pressure at ASA Nationals....not on the message boards of Heybucket...

I just found it odd to call a team an "A" team without much of a resume to back it up against the very best at ASA nationals... thats all...
