Ive seen my daughters 10u team play in some friendlies. we are a rec Allstar team so we play for fun and experience. we dont think of ourselves as in the same league as these teams. However my judgments are from what ive seen, with my own eyes. I have seen some of the teams play in friendlies. Without a doubt So Cal Athletics 2020 is the best team I've seen play. I've also seen corona angels , t2 , team AB, Artesia punishers , team Mizuno (I think 03), strikeforce , so cal swagger , OC elite , lady thunder and TGS. I haven't seen the other teams play. From those teams I have seen play.

Team AB tie with T2 ( these 2 teams have played each other a few times and have split games) edge to Team AB
Artesia Punishers
So cal swagger
Team Mizuno (03?)


The other teams arnt very good our rec all star team beat
OC elite
Lady thunder
Strikeforce (must be a different strikeforce everyone above is ranking)
TGS

OH and the rec all star team is an 8u team, all 2003 and 1 2004 so those teams can't be very good JMHO!

The critique is based on what i've seen with my own eyes not based on scores. They are friendlies right ??? Its from the teams play, quality of players,& coaching. How a team positions themselves on bunt coverage, 1st and 3rd coverage, quality at bats, pitching , defense scores are not allways the factors espeacilly in a friendly. However with that said, we actuly played Oc Elite twice , again at USA friendly in Whittier (and won), so its based on watching them play about 5 games not only against us. Again not based on score but quality of play. The Corona Magic team will no longer be together around that time, sorry would love to play!!! most of the girls will be returning to Rec ball. But thanks for the invite!! . Oc Elite is a TB organization and should be OUTPLAYING (not just beating) a team like Corona Magic anyways. Keep the game fun thats what our teams about. The point of the Post is give your opinion on the teams you have seen play. I think your too focused on your scorebook and not seeing the game being played.

My concern is more to the point that users of this site believe that those making such opinions actually have the background, experience, facts and knowledge to make those opinions. It seems you took the time to point out the fact that your team was an all 2003 team but apparently not astute enough to know the team you were critiquing was also a 2003 team (and at least one other). Furthermore, you must realize that many teams playing a 2003 temp team team like yours will use that friendly opportunity to play its back-up players. I did have a hint that the magic was gone as I have seen some of your ex-players playing for some of those teams you mention as "can't be very good". When and if you do get your team together again, please remember my invite as our team will be around for years to come and the invite is an open invitation.

Bratz I have bad news for you. First, if you DD is still in the game "for years to come", hopefully someday you will be humbled by your nonsense in this post. Second, I promise you, your 10U juggernaut will not be around for "years to come". Don't shoot the messenger.

Bratz our team will be together for some toys for tots tournaments, probably into January or February. Just not the days you listed (Xmas Vacation). I’m sure we will play again, it will be fun. Mo Money who I’ve never met happened to have the same critique as I. That’s 2 separate people with the same judgment. For some reason my critique struck a soft point, even though Mo Money thought Oc Eltie and others should be dismantled. I don’t agree that Oc Elite should be dismantled every girl especially at 10 years old should have the opportunity to play softball even at the TB level if her heart desires. Especially a 03 team. But having a realistic goal and expectation as a parent and or coach is important. My point of "the teams we beat aren’t very good. " Is based on realistic goals and expectations of our own team. Which is not a TB team, we don’t practice 3 times a week and have specialty coaches (hitting/fielding). We get together have fun work on fundamentals, and learn the game of softball. We use the friendlies and tournaments to challenge our girls and make them better and give them a clear goal. I think you missed the point of the Post however it was discuss the TOP 5 teams which having seen So Cal Athletics, Corona Angels play as well as Team AB , T2, and Artesia punishers which were listed in the conversation, I thought Id share what I saw. But good Luck to you Bratz and Oc Elite.
