Surfcity Refund???

by banzai williams » Tue Oct 23, 2012 1:51 pm

Most of my dealings with surfcity have been positive and they been pretty good to my team over the last few years. However, for this last showcase I paid on pay pal $925 and sent in my registration that apparently never made it there. By the time I realized there was a problem they were full and we didn't get in. I was told they were going to reverse the paypal transaction, but still nothing. Has this ever happened to anyone, how long did the refund take? Any suggestions what I should do next?

Check your paypal account as paypal will hold your money in your account until you transfer it back into your bank account. They will not do it for you?

It also might be a good thing to just call the office at 714-465-2481 back and let them know you still have not received it. They will check with PayPal and get it taken care of for you. I do know that refunds for the Fall and October Showcases were all sent out just recently. If your refund has been overlooked, then we will take care of it immediately.

you have nothing to worry about... imagine how many teams they are dealing with. Easy for something to be overlooked:)

I felt a need to comment on this. I experienced a scheduling mix up for the October Showcase. No doubt that it was just a honest mistake, but a refund was warranted. I recieved our refund check one week after. No hassle, no need to follow up. So for us, we had no issue.
