Unlimited Substitutions-Entire roster can bat.

get some innings, save some money and have a day off.

My daughters team played in the bay area showcase with 1:20 drop dead and paid a ton of money. Waste of time! No college scouts,crappy umps and fields.

The short answer is: it works for us!!

The long answer is: it works for me and those involved!!

Just a question...... I just always felt 1:20 drop dead sucks in tourneys, so at a friendly ALWAYS felt more innings the better.

I absolutely 110% agree 1:20 drop dead in tourneys is ridiculous or for that matter any drop dead time in a tourney format is absurd. I rank that right along side the revert back to the previous inning rule. I always want a team(s) to get as many innings and games in as possible.....and for those who have EVER!! been apart of any of the teams associated with myself......they know there is a lot of DAYLIGHT in my book when you're around me.

However again without all the intangibles involved it just comes down to time and place, chance and space. Nothing more. Wish we could play 1 day and 20 mins....however thats just not possible!!
