Who are the top 12U teams in IN for 2012-2013?

by cpbulldogfan » Thu Sep 27, 2012 11:07 am

I Love Fastpitch - It's a secret, can't tell ya!

Likeitornot - I think bake is afraid to play the 12u Bulldogs. Couldn't beat them last year and doesn't want to get embarrassed again this year!

cpbulldogfan you seem to base a lot on one or two games a season, I could get into reasons for this and for that, but the fact of the matter is our 11U team from 2012 was exactly that,... an 11U team, ALL 2000!!! We took shots from a lot of 12U teams. This is a new season with a somewhat new team.
What we stress here at the NWI White Sox is not the importance of winning every game, but the importance of each player and parent developing the skills (mentally and physically) to reach short and long term goals in this game. These 12 year olds are about 24 months from trying out for their high school teams, it is my job, as well as all of the coaches in our program to make sure they are prepared for that day, and then on to the next level. IMO that is the area that most programs and teams in NWI don't understand. PREPARATION and GOAL REACHING!!! Our program has added a 16U team this season and we have been working diligently to make sure we make the right moves, and trying to develop the right contacts to help these NWI players most of which don't have a clue as to how to get recruited, because they have spent their whole softball careers on teams that have done a poor job of PREPARING them for this day. We have brought in a new 14U coach that has the experience and contacts to help his players reach their goals!!
So you see cpbulldogfan and likeitornot, to me it is more important to have a vision as to where these 12U girls will be five years from now, as opposed to what happens in a 12U game on a field in Crown Point or Portage this season. Believe me bulldogfan the players I have on my 12U are not afraid to play any team.

Just having some fun with you bake.. I seems to be an intense rivalry so it's fun to get everyone's take on it. I think it's funny that you have girls on your team this year who's parents were your harshest critics last year.. Haha but you get the last laugh cause in the end.. They needed you in order to play with a good team.

Intense rivalry it is!!!! Just wish the two teams were more evenly matched. The White Sox 2000 picked up a couple good players from Energy so that should help strengthen the team. But I still don't think they have enough fire power to compete with the Bulldogs00! Can't wait until these two play each other and Bulldogs00 can once again, show why they are one of the top teams in Indiana!

I heard the sox got beat by the Aftermath in championship game. How this could happen is beyond me!!!!! Someone needs to verify this and explain how they could have possibly got beat.

Likeitornot - Keep checking playnsa.com on a regular basis!!!!

The NWI White Sox 2000 got beat in a NSA tourney???? I agree cpbulldogfan. How this could happen is beyond me as well. Someone that was there needs to verify this. Also, if they did get beat, please tell the heybucket world how? Out pitched, out hit, errors, combination, etc.?

Yawn.........

Back to what this discussion is titled - "Who are the top 12U teams in IN for 2012-2013?"

After a quick trip to the Gators Classic on Sunday, I was impressed by the Indy Crush 2000 going undefeated all weekend and beating the 2nd place team 8-0 in a RR.

Discuss?
