Reading all this it seems there are some new teams making waves, and rather than compete on the dirt the Impact coach has decided to use underhanded tactics to avoid these new teams, at the same time hindering the recruiting opportunities of players on these new teams. That's despicable behavior.

That he is doing this while hiding behind the skirts of spineless tournament directors makes him look like a total pussy.

IG has no idea what to say now. They never dreamed any one would question anything they did...For gods sake people they are IMPACT...how dare you embarrass them in public!!!

At least JL came on and claimed he was not involved with the EGCC and offerred to discuss in private, more than any other has done. That at least should lend some measure of respect.

Though in looking over the Ronald McDonald "tentative" team list it seems that 7 of the 8 Houston area teams that qualified for ASA Gold Nationals this year are at Collins park and 1 is not. All of the mentioned members of the Committe are at Collins park, even the Magic who didn't qualify and seems are short a team as well as all Impact Gold teams even the newly formed ones.

Maybe "involved with" doesn't mean what I think it means

Although JL says those teams are welcome at Ronald McDonald they may play a three game round robin in Alaska. You can bet they won't see the PRIME FIELDS or TIMES. Its a simple equation the new upcoming teams are getting harder to steal from. It's a crazy idea but maybe kids like playing for honorable people.
