TCS Question

What's on your mind?

by swells9232 » Mon Sep 10, 2012 1:48 pm

I know that ASA blue book has a rule that during a tournament season a girl can not play at a higher level then go back to a lower lever (18 to 16). But, does TCS have any such rule. If a player/team played this year on a 18U team (during national qualifers) does it exempt the team from playing in a qualifer at the 16 level if everything else is eligable?

Best to contact the people at Triple Crown. I would think that as long as your team/players are age eligible and qualified by placing in that age group, then they could go play in the World Series event in either age group category.

This was the first year that TCS allowed players play in multiple divisions . I will look for the email that was sent from TCS officials and post it, if found.

Found it , see below:

EFFECTIVE IMMEADIATELY

Roster Rule #6 change

6. A player can play on multiple rosters in the TCS World Series under the following circumstances
1. the player is age eligible
2. the World Series events are not being held at the same location on the same date.
3. the player must turn in a signed Roster Wavier form from her coach of record to Triple Crown Sports at least 7 days prior to the start of the TCS World Series. The    Wavier Roster Form can be found in the Document section of the World Series web page
4. the Roster Wavier is not valid until Triple Crown Sports approves the wavier

Example:  1) A player can play in the 14U World Series (San Diego) and the 16U World Series (Reno) as long as she meets the age requirements for 14U
                        2) A player can NOT play in both the 16U and 18U World Series because both events are in Reno.
                         3) A player can NOT play in both the 10U and 12U World Series because both events are in Park City.

Thank you. That is what I thought, but HB eased my mind.
