And if you would never ban a team from a tournament then why cant aces express play in Beaumont this weekend? your the TD.

Ronnie and Nara Cole are good folks who run tournamnets in Beaumont. In the past few years, their Stars of Texas brand has suffered in Beaumont. If you look at their website, it lists us as co tournament directors. I just helped him get teams in the tournament. i had nothing to do with scheduling, and sure did not tell him what teams he would accept or decline. They are good people and I am sad that this is all happening.

Amen Cheeseburger. These Elite Coaches was started by one person and I hope this person realizes how much he has affected the girls and not the coaches. Maybe next time they will think wisely on how a decision like this makes them look by the softball community. Many know who they are. Do the right thing & let all the teams play that you have banned from the tournament. Put all this behind you. It's the right think to do.

if you helped them get teams, then help them get these teams back in it.

Not in this case, but check in after the election when the "red" comes out.
BTW, poor Jonathan is not the coach of IG, and these actions sound like they are coming from the coaches, not managers. Sure drags us all into the mud though, and that sucks.

I have never kept a team from playing and never will.

So these two statements taken together, it seems your saying the other two made the decision to remove the team?

If the tournament needed teams what was the excuse for not scheduling the black-ball teams?

Say your not a member. Fine, I obviously wasn't at the meeting so don't know first hand but it sure seems to be your crew heading it up. That whole 'guilty by association' thing, so I will say you may want to check on things 'cause so far you have been the L in L.B.J.

So many great things happening right now in softball and for this to be happening is just plain embarassing. If this Committe isn't embaressed over it's actions then why hasn't someone come on and told us that side of the story. Only thing I have seen on here is people popping up to deny any involvement. Why have it all behind the scenes, if it is all above board?

I'm not sure what's all going on and don't agree with any team being banned but what's REALLY going on? I've followed Gold softball for the last few years (my DD will be looking to play gold next year) and these teams seemed to have gotten along in the past. What's happened since nationals? EVERY team can't be WRONG! Correct.?!? It's obvious something has happened and no one wants to bring that up. The EGCC don't have banning power but have the right to play where they want but something is not adding up. The 3 teams mentioned earlier are not innocent victims?!?! Who can tell me what these teams did? Please don't say that teams are 'scared to play' because it seems that the teams in this EGCC have had greater success than the mentioned 3.

No. As I have posted before, I will be more than glad to discuss what happened personally with anyone who wishes to call me and discuss it with me. I do not feel that a public forum is the place to discuss this. I will give you the answers to your questions, i do nont want to perpetauate these issues on Heybucket.

Who voted for these Elite coaches and who gave them the power to tell the tournament director at Beaumont to say if Aces, Kaos and Firecrackers play they will pull out of the tournament. That is using a lot of power to influence the discussion going on to day two. So are they going to continue to create their own rules and affect the girls from playing? Something that has been forgotten since they created this problem.

:o
Glad we are finished with this chapter just in the nick of time.

I will say that this attitude has been brewing for a few years around these parts.
National Status will do funny things to organizations. They all drink their own brand of Kool Aid.

Bottom line is and always be MONEY for most of them. Some pay their coaches well.

Looks like Houston is ripe for a softball revolution.

Good luck to all.
Especially the young ladies whose dreams will be altered due the arrogance of some.
