The Aces Express did not steal any players from Impact. The players in question left of their own accord to seek a better opportunity.

I still don't get the line about "stealing" players. They go on their own. I am with soreshins, players went on their own.

So, knowing that these players were going to Aces, I am sure that the coaching staff of Impact made sure they filled in where they needed to. If the offer is there, from Impact, players are going to take it.

I do not believe in the words "stealing ball players" either. But that are some smooth talking coaches and organizations that can make the other side of the fence look a hold lot greener. And having parents not completly satisfied with the way things are going on the present club they jump ship for the so called greener side.

Coaches if you want to keep your players always be truthful and upfront with them on everything. Threat everyone the same. Keep everything positive. Make sure they are learning and they are progressing in all aspects of the game. Finally keep the parents informed but let them know you will not tolerate disruptions from them, in any form, because it will affect the team.

Okay, so they played the top 9 through the summer and the ones that didn't play moved on to where they could get on the field with another team. Not a bad decision (to leave) since the girls are all committed anyway.

Frito, don't know about your quote "goin down", but here is the formula if you want to try it (patent pending!)
1. Create an gold all-star team in your city
2. Have your own complex/association to play out of
3. Generally recruit only college committed players to lower your risk
4. Travel all over creation and play in tons of top tournaments
5. Keep your head coaches for the long term, build a long history
6. Make it free (or very low cost) for your players
