The players and families of SoCal Wicked Limon 18 Gold are raising funds for a 9 year old La Habra boy named Noah who is hoping to have a heart transplant. We need your help.
This weekend we are hosting their 18 + Gold College Showcase Softball Tournament at La Bonita Park in La Habra. Over 16 teams are scheduled to participate during the two day tourney.
Wicked founder Dave Limon (neighbor of Noah’s Uncle Josh & Aunt Jamie) and his girl’s team have decide to raise money for Noah’s new heart throughout the weekend at their tournament.
The girls will be holding a 50/50 raffle, and even collecting your old plastic bottles. That’s right – they’ll recycle your cans as well! Wicked will be collecting all of the recycling at theRound Robin. If you can bag all of your empty bottles and cans and bring it over to the collection area by the snack bar this week end it would be greatly appreciated.
Team members have also spent time getting pledges for their “Hit-a-thon”. This is where an individual player can earn $ for Noah for each hit she makes throughout their 7 game tourney!
Stop by the Noah’s Heart table and stay hello! La Bonita Park (1440 W. Whittier Blvd) has picnic facilities, snack bar, playgrounds, restrooms, softball fields, a skate park, a girl’s pavilion, and is next door to the Boys and Girls Club.
Noah's family will also be at the field and will be collection donations for Noah,s heart transplant if you wish to make a donation.
