Thoughts on Firecrackers having a team in Nor Cal

by WatchinBall » Fri Aug 17, 2012 9:44 pm

What???? The Smash 98 does good at PGF and become part of the Firecracker Org located in Nor Cal??? Does this mean Firecrackers will be giving there name to the team that plays well each year??? What will that mean for the firecracker org? Will there name comtinue to carry the same weight as it has in the past. They might as well invite the Corona Angels over too why not have all Ca teams become firecrackers? Just wondering what everyone else thinks of this?

too saturated now, Firecrackers use to be associated with high quality players/teams, not anymore

Adding a team that finished top 5 at PGf this year, won the firecracker MDC tourney, and finished top 5 at ASA nationals last year saturates the org? Even though they are from Norcal they are still a high quality team. and if my information is correct they finished higher than every other firecracker team this year.

Started a program in north texas, at least 98 smash is a good team the north texas coach and team will not even compete at 12 u let alone in 18u.

Too many bad coaches, tx bombers.did the same thing

Good luck tony

Not sure if this is true or not, but heard that Rico gets $750 a month for franchising the name. Just rumor mill kinda stuff. Reminds me of the space age movie where everything is named Taco Bell. Can't remember the name of it.

some one put this up in another post about this and I liked it...a scene from good fellas...

Now the guy's got Tony as a partner. Any problems, he goes to Tony. Trouble with the bill? He can go to Tony. Trouble with the cops, deliveries, Tommy, he can call Tony. But now the guy's gotta come up with Tony'smoney every week, no matter what. Business bad? "F@#k you, pay me." Oh, you had a fire? "F@#k you, pay me." Place got hit by lightning, huh? "F@#k you, pay me."
