Western Nationals In Roseville

I know its not PGF or Nationals BUT!!!!... With Westerns coming this week to our local area who are some teams to watch in 10s and 12s. Does Nor Cal have a chance??

10u Firecrackers 02 are coming if they represent like the other Firecrackers do that should be fun to watch. From Nor Cal Sting and Kg Hitters have been playing good ball as of late.

12u Batbusters Mauga Same thing the Org normally have solid teams. Sting, Grapes Kap, North Valley Rapids??? All of these teams have been playing pretty well as of late in 12u.

Anyone have input or know anything about the teams who are coming from out of State?

KG Hitters-Concord is tearing it up in Sac. Beat a number of SoCal teams and playing Hawaii in the Championship right now. Great Job

Great Job KG Hitters. It was nice to see the extended family from Benicia playing so well. The girls fought hard every game and never gave up. Congrats on the 2nd place finish. Way to represent the 00 teams from Nor Cal.

Guava Jam had a great week. Great team, Great Families Congrats on Winning Western Nationals.

i saw there was only a handful of so cal teams. how impressive was the teams here. i know the guava jam team pretty much destroyed everyone was anyone impressed with any teams or players

The "little team from the border" was a team to watch....Elite 2000 took 3rd place, and actually gave the winners, Guava Jam from Hawaii a much better game then KG Hitters, who beat Elite by 1 run on some very "dicey" umpire calls. Watch out for them next year !

The 9yo Firecrackers were even better than advertised. What a completely solid team from top to bottom. DD and I believed they'd make a deep run on the weekend and we weren't at all surprised when they took the title. That's an extremely talented group.

Lynnnie1953 seems to be saying that KG didn't deserve second place. If you look back at the pool play KG Hitters Concord beat San Diego Elite 8-1 and then 4-3 in brackets. I would have to say that KG had there number with or without any of the umpires help. I saw KG girls play there hearts out and they earned every win.

it looks like some good games being played just checked out the final brackets my personal opinion pool play doesn't matter but beating a team twice does. from just looking at the scores it looked like the elite team beat some very good teams and everyone i talked to was very impressed with the guava jam team as well as the Kg team. it looked like diamonds and the elite team gave guava jam the best run for their money.
