Indiana Earthquake (sorry, CA has exclusive rights the earthquake name, but I guess some CA teams use the Hurricanes name so I guess it is ok.)

We played The Legion of Doom at the 2010 NSA World Series in Rock, Hill SC. They had real cool uniforms. We kept wondering if their archrivals were the "Superfriends"? Game temp was 101 degrees with equal humidity, was our fourth game of the day -we blew a 5 run lead as our usual pristine defense melted in the heat. We then drove almost 4hrs to Myrtle Beach to attend a TCS tournament. Boy I miss it!

They haven't completed the Little League and Babe Ruth World Series yet, they like to get all the lesser tourneys that nobody cares about out of the way first so they get the softball world's undivided attention.

I think in many ways PGF, ASA and even TCS could learn a lot from Little League- they know how to get exposure and real TV time. They also "unfortunately" present a lesser product that far too many of the unknowing masses think is the real thing. I really wish PGF and ESPN could have worked things out. Have no idea why ASA is not on TV- can't they package it with some of the Team USA stuff?

The TCS TV coverage was great. Maybe little league has more money. I heard to get the TCS games on TV were around 40k a game and the PGF games were like 90K a game. Maybe the more you do the better the price you get.

LL makes ESPN take it as part of the baseball in Williamsport, PA LL does not pay to have its games televised- My guess is they get paid.

LL signed a $30.1 mm contract(7 year) in 2007 with ESPN to show the Baseball world series

I am sure ESPN has made many times more than that on ads

PGF should team up with LL as an open / travel World Series to get the more polished version of fastpitch in front of the masses and garner more attention / support. I also hate seeing softball games on baseball fields but that's jmho.
