Bake wrote:Hey softballnut we have been out of our league most of the summer with all 2000 kids!!!! No worries here bud, we will go to Moline and observe, have fun, enjoy the experience, and give our kids, parents, and coaches, an opportunity to see some of the best 12U players and teams in the country. Given the choice I would rather play four games against great competition than seven games against bad competition. We will come back from Moline have a tryout and try to strengthen up some areas. Please remember these kids are all 11 years old, and our goal is to prepare these girls for 16U, 18U, high school, and college (if they choose). Of course we would love to win more, but hopefully it will be a long softball journey for most of these players, and sometimes losing makes winning more enjoyable. Good luck to all the Indiana and Chicago Area teams at ASA/USA. C U in the fall!!!!

You're rite bake, in everything you stated, the learning curve to make a better ball player is near. Just saying what i see in competition from moline is all, those teams all qualify and are playing in there age division, first year 12's and 2nd year 12s. I call it like i see it, no personal agenda here.
