They earned their bid by the manager complaining and harassing the Asa commissioner for a bid. Plain and simple. You cannot compete for a top finish at NSA b, you have no business going to Asa. But hey, let them waste their money.

Oh and Plainfield force still in it.. Hmm. Renee ever heard of a number 3 pitcher, that's what u saw from Plainfield in pool play.

WOW, I'm not suppose to be proud of my kid and how well she pitched in a game against a top team. Give me a break. I don't need to hide behind some user name on here and bash people and their children. Real Classy! My daughter has pitched a lot if not most of the games this season. We have a great group of girls on our team. I wouldn't say anyone carried anybody. We all have a part in every win we achieve. That pitcher wasn't there number 3 pitcher from Plainfield. I think I've been around all season to know that. Besides explain how they batted and played the field. You need to hit the ball to score runs right? Personally, its obvious whose team your from and I think its a shame you can put down a team for going to ASA Nationals when all the teams going to Nationals from Indiana didn't even earn their berth by winning a tournament except Raiders Black and Gators.

you know how you explain the hitting.........RV Rage and Plainfield Force are notorious for having their batters switch to the other side of the plate during pool play! so much so that i was told by the RV coach one time that they learned that from the Plainfiled Force.

Well since you know who I am I have to say I watched your daughter pitch town ball this season and thought she looked strong against all those town ball teams. I'm sad we won't get to see her pitch next yr since she moves up.

Good luck to your dd and her team at nationals..

Just for the record: The same girl your referring to just had her father fall 17 feet from a 2 story building and almost die on July 9th. He broke 6 ribs in which most of them are completely broke in half. He also has a 30% pneumthorax which is a collapsed lung and a hemothorax which is internal bleeding from the fall. He lost 700ml of blood. He was in the hospital for almost 2 weeks. He also had to have a chest tube put in his side. She still played softball during all of this. So if you have anything negative to say about my daughter who has pitched mostly a great season for having a few difficult games. Talk to someone who gives a crap.

Sorry, I'm just a little stressed. I thought the town ball comment was suppose to be mean. As you can tell this is only my 2nd year going through travel ball and its definitely has its ups and downs. I like to read some of the more experienced travel ball coaches and parents comments because some of the information can be helpful to a parent like me that is new to all this. I guess that's why I still come on here.

I think it is great you are going to Moline. Since the world series is in your back yard, so not as costly, it makes a lot of sense to go to Moline and give your girls the experience.

I think two teams from Michigan, Outlaws Black and MC Madness, are teams to watch along with River Valley Rage.

I am cheering for Harris or LaPorte to win it all.

This is my first experience following any type of travel ball worlds series or nationals. It is interesting to see the wide range of skill level of the teams. I have been surprised at the margin of victories. Scores such as 21-4 clearly show the two teams are not at the same level of play........ I expected, in a "world series" that most the games would be close and each game would be a battle. Naive I guess.

Another lesson I am learning from following the NSA World series is that there is a difference between teams who play B ball and A ball. Since I mostly followed LaPorte and Harris this year, two teams which probably should be A, and we played mostly A tournaments, I didn't realize the gap between 12 A and B teams was so big.

Watching Crown Point 99 not only hold their own but dominate in 14u highlights this difference. Has a 12u team ever won a 14u B world series?

I'm being honest here, c p bulldogs 99 got no business in an NSA 14u B world series. I would of thought at minimum an ''A'' nsa world series in 14's or even 12's,,but i guess will give them the benefit of doubt saying maybe they don't care for the win and are there for scrimmage type games. If their playing to win an ''NSA B world series then playing at usa/asa nationals with the cream of the crop , thats embarrassing ,,by the way, they got a very easy pool play bracket in moline,,considering the 83 teams,,they lucked out.

Gators 99 got the toughest pool play with georgia fire and firecrackers 'quarles'. Good luck cynthia,, your gonna need it. probly 3rd or 4th in pool.

Raiders has a semi tough one. maybe 1st or 2nd in pool

bulldogs 2000 looks like they might get 3rd in pool.

N W ind whitesox 2000. looks like 4th in pool

Pool play is just that. Pool play. Not that they need me to defend them, , and I've been in tournaments with every one these teams this summer.

Absolutely no doubt in my mind that gators 99 can hold their own. But why would you even bring up a stement like ''but come tourney play the Gators will be just fine at the end of the day. I don't think any of the NW Indiana teams want any of what they bring. Just my opinion''

Dont worry about the northwest indiana teams verses the gators99,, worry about the firecrackers/quarles team and a few others that will add some gator meat on that california hawaiian pizza. I don't think gators want what they bring either. Just my opinion.

You seem to have changed your tune. Up until this point all I've heard from you is how great the NWI teams are. With that in mind, we'll see how you fare vs the other Indiana teams. After all, this is usually an Indiana thread until you take it off on a tangent someplace

Your offbeat here, all i did was post an opinion on how i think the pool will play out, rite away your compareing northwest indiana teams with the gators99,,now it's an Indiana thread because you don't like the facts,, anyway, who really cares on here if an Indiana team did good up at moline,, for the most part a,b or c would be jealous if d,e or f won or did good anyway , softball is cut throat anyway, nobody cares about any other team in there area at all, not to much unity here bro,,just a bunch back slapping high fivers amongst the pal's,, anyway , good luck to your team or the team you like, ' if you think i really mean that anyway'

Well you saying nobody cares about other teams in the area may just be where you are. Or maybe the area I am at is different pretty much all the teams around here cheer for the other unless they are playing against one another.

I so wanted to see gators 99 [ even though pool play] playing firecrackers [quarles], but first they would have to beat georgia fire.

NW Indiana sox is toast, way way way outa their league here, but fun is fun.

Bulldogs 2000, well lets say, IT will be an experience.

Bulldogs99, if you cant hang with the 'big dogs on the block' stay on the porch.

Raiders99. depending on bracket, can finish top 20.

Firecrackers [quarles] is the big dog there,,Quakes, s o cal jynx, atlanta vipers, all the georgia teams,,a couple of texas teams..I'll pick them ,,, Firecrackers [quarles] witch by the way is the 2012 PGF 12U CHAMPS, Quakes, jynx,,,,,,top 3,,, then atlanta viper,,,,

Hey softballnut we have been out of our league most of the summer with all 2000 kids!!!! No worries here bud, we will go to Moline and observe, have fun, enjoy the experience, and give our kids, parents, and coaches, an opportunity to see some of the best 12U players and teams in the country. Given the choice I would rather play four games against great competition than seven games against bad competition. We will come back from Moline have a tryout and try to strengthen up some areas. Please remember these kids are all 11 years old, and our goal is to prepare these girls for 16U, 18U, high school, and college (if they choose). Of course we would love to win more, but hopefully it will be a long softball journey for most of these players, and sometimes losing makes winning more enjoyable. Good luck to all the Indiana and Chicago Area teams at ASA/USA. C U in the fall!!!!

Am I the only one who finds this guy's "knowledge" of 12U softball teams a little creepy?

Good luck to all the Indiana teams, represent.
