And we would like to congradulate the Crown Point Bulldogs 99 for being {2nd place} runners up.

Wish ASA wouldn't of prematurely ended the tournament because of the rain. Would've been nice to see these two teams play in the championship game. There was no rain delay just ened the tournament expected some delay do to the championship games were the only ones left to play. The 14U 2nd and 3rd place was decided on a coin flip when they were in a international tie breaker to see who would make it to the championship. Very disappointed in how the ASA officials quickly ended the tournament.

I couldn't disagree more. I came to watch after my daughter's team was eliminated to watch and wish that I hadn't. The storm was scary. If you were there you know what I'm talking about. Hail, probably 50 mile an hour winds, and players and families clamoring into the concession stand to take cover. There was no way they were going to get that field playable and ASA had no choice. The Bulldog coaches did not use this as an excuse and were very gracious. There attitude was that Raiders beat them in a hard fought game in bracket and won winners bracket and therefore earned the title. Coaches for both teams are class acts and should be proud of their performances.

If you want to see these 2 great teams go at it again, go to NSA A State in Indy this weekend. They are probably the favorites to meet in the finals.

Yes; the tournament ended early, Yes; thank God the hail ,high winds, blackened everything didn't turn into a tornado because if that storm didn't scare you,,It sure scared my 2 ton truck, because it was shakeing it back and forth pretty good, no way the final game could of went on that day because of the ammount of rainfall on the spungy outfield.

All in all, Raiders were 5-0 at that point, bulldogs lost a close 6-5 game the day before, and had the bulldogs won that game they would have placed 1st. All remaining teams besides the raiders befor the rain had lost 1 game in bracket play.raiders still had 2 games left to lose even without the storm,, Team energy was knocked out the 2nd day.Laport lazers fought hard for a 2-1 loss against the raiders,.... So everything in that tourny was legit weather you like it or not.

All in all, I think all the teams fought and played hard in this ASA tournament.

And as far as all the trash talk here,,and all the good talk here, everyone of those teams their knew that the only team to beat out for 1st place was the RAIDERS 99.

I hope they do well in Panama City next week representing the great Hoosier state.

I thought they were playing in Columbus, OH at the Stingrays tourney along with the Gators next weekend. Could be another Indiana Xtreme who is playing there.

Xtreme 14U (Crowe) is playing at Stingrays this weekend.

Are the 00's the ones that are leaving the Xtreme organization for greener pastures at the end of the season?

I personally think that the laporte lazers fought very hard in crown point this past weekend.

Who gets the berth to nationals now from that weekend, Raiders got the berth from the Hall of fame games in oklahoma with a 7th place finish,

Did bulldogs 99 have a berth from another tourny, did laport lazers have one allready?

With the raiders 1st place win in crown point means they won that State game, but it was also an USA/ASA National berth tourny also combined.

So who did the USA/ASA nationals berth TRICKLE down too.

Bulldogs 99 received bid for having beaten the Lazers for 2nd place.
