Actually, your point, since your very first post, was to misdirect a comment (ie daring to post a smiley) I made toward some idiot coach that isnt even on this board, and aim at every coach and parent on this board.. as if I said it towards even the OP.

WORSE!!! We are talking about an Idiot middle school coach who doesnt know the rules! You think he/she knows softball????? He doesnt even rate HS coach, who is universally reviled in the high and mighty travel ball community. Hell, a middle school coach isnt even allowed to dub himself the title of "elite" or "gold" like sam can.. A middle school coach is by default considered a scrub by the majority of the TB softball parents on this board..

but you attack me because I point out an ignorant idiot is an ignorant idiot..

I'll be awaiting the skarp on the white horse when the TB parents start sniveling about the HS coaches...surely you'll be there to defend their honor!

Odd.

This is your ilk sammy.. This is your coaching buddy. So quick to take an umpire to task .. even when we are correctly pointing something out. Obviously Ace is a fairly fairly sickening representation of a coach, but a good representation of the type we were discussing to begin with.

You think its out of line for me and MTR to take the Ace's of the coaching world to task?

For me, I think Ace = case closed.

For the record, I'm not Sammys coaching buddy. And you are right in the fact that if you want, you can call an idiot, an idiot, as you pretty much have been doing. I am also correct in saying, you sir, are a dick. You dont HAVE to talk down to people but you choose to. Dick. You have a power trip. Dick. Your a know it all. Dick. If that makes me a bad coach in your mind, fine. Immature, sure. Dick. Maybe that makes me a CHEATER in your mind. Dick. I dont really care, because at the end of the day, I am really, REALLY amused by your amazing amount of love you have for yourself, your opinions, and your unending knowledge of fastpitch softball rules. Dick. Your come off like a softball nazi, not like an umpire. Maybe its because I have spent litterally my entire life playing baseball, softball, and now coaching, that I have seen your kind, and laugh at you. your a mole. Go back to your hole in the ground, and look for a rule that nobody knows about and find a way to call it this weekend. Then pull your mask over your smug little sneer, satisfied in your superiority. Dick.

oh bull crap, you are a scrub daddy balller with no experience whatsoever. You bench warmed in little league and now you think hitting fly balls during practice, kicking dirt, and making sure your DD plays 1B at least 4 innings a game is coaching. Youre a 1B coach who probably screws that up.

Prove me wrong... lets see where you coach you scrub.

And Ace, after a review of your posts: for someone who pretends to work as a high school coach, you border on illiteracy. You are a functional mentally challenged scrub of an assistant freshman volunteer coach. Youre probably in charge of keeping the bucket warm when your team is on offense. You definitely got left behind.

lol...interesting response.

First, some housekeeping. If your  post was an isolated incident, it wouldn't merit any notice whatsoever. Problem is, you do that all the time. It's like you don't want people to ask questions...but of course you do, because that's your wheelhouse on this board. More than a little ironic.

Now, as for the idiot middle school coach. If he is, as you say, an idiot, why not cut him some friggin' slack? He's not supposed to know anything...because he is, as you say, an idiot. Why on earth would you feel compelled to show how much smarter you are than this nobody? A psychologist would immediately opine "inferiority complex." The same thing that accounts for juvenile teasing and bullying on the playground.

Here's the thing. I'm an idiot about softball rules compared to you. An absolute, anadulterated, grade-A idiot. Freely admitted. Doesn't mean I'm an idiot in a larger sense (although that's certainly arguable). And it certainly doesn't mean you're entitled to ridicule me simply because you chose to spend thousands of hours umping games (while I chose to waste my time winning the Fields Medal or solving cold fusion or some such).

Of course, you're on record as saying that you DO think that you are so entitled. Well you're at least entitled to that opinion...but it says a lot about you.

Yeah I ridiculed the guys coach, so what really? You gotta admit the chances are that coach really is an idiot.. and my inate ability to detect that is serving me well :)

The only difference between that coach and ace is... Ace is obviously full of crap... and at least the idiot in question is a real coach.

Plus I did mix in some trivia.. how many knew D3K is one of the oldest virtually unchanged rules in the game (beginning of course with baseball)? Its part of the history of game.

Some soccer daddy like ace pretending to know the game doesnt care about the history, but a student of the game such as myself does!

I weed through hundreds of posts in the hope that something interesting comes a long and I learn something which will help me improve my game. The price paid for that is answering hundreds.. OBS and INT and CALL THE ZONE BY THE BOOK posts That I go along with just to go a long with.

YOu think wrong, I could careless if people ask questions.

FOR ME, Rules are best discussed amongst umpires. Not here, but on officiating forums. Answering "layman" questions is just something I do here and at ezteams.

They could close the rules forum right now and I'd still goof on this site talking aobut gold teams, enjoying so cal losing their edge, talking about bats, and whatever else comes up.

So contrary to your belief, I dont come here for good rules discussions.. that aint happening.

Whahha! Not bad. I always wondered what happened to the 3rd grade Ball Monitor that thought they had some kind of "power" over the rest of the kids. You probably gave the new bouncy balls to the cute girl you had a crush on, and gave the old deflated ones to the kids with a personality didnt you? Its ok, we have a place for all you old Ball/ Hall monitors. Its behind the plate where you still think you are "somebody" cuz you get to punch out girls. Sorry to keep responding to you, I know how I must be keeping you from your Dungeons and Dragons tournament. Keep calling idiots idiots, then hide behind your mask. The only reason this bothers you is cuz you cant run me from here. You know, the same way you run someone when YOU make a mistake and cover it up by ejecting a coach. And your right, I never could play, and I still cant coach. I have 1 coaching book, and I just got to the second chapter. Its called how to deal with power tripping, know it all, low self estimed, social retards. You Wade. the chapter is about you. Now your famous, dick.

Our new fundraising event:

Sam's team playing against Ace's team. MTR and Wade umpiring, Skarp can be the UIC and Spazdad as TD. All under the "new" 18 Gold rules. We could have it up at Saboda, but you would have to check the weapons at the gaurd shack. :D

They'd be lining up at the gates.
