Heybucket has grown and grown and grown and is still growing. We have been having some problems the last few months overloading the server and crashing our web site along with 11 other companies that we share our server with.

We have decided to bite the bullet and make the jump to our own server. In doing this it will open up more pages for view active topics again. You still may have to log on to view active topics, I am not 100% sure about this yet.

With this increasing cost of the new server soon we are going to charge $1.99 per month or $19.99 a year to post on Heybucket. I hope you all understand the time, money and effort we put into heybucket to make it the best and the biggest travel ball web site in the world.

When will you start charging the fee?

I don't know I am still working out stuff with my web guy.

We are going to be off line soon maybe in the middle of the night. Once we get switched over to our new server it will take some adjustments after that to get everything up and running.

it's a server setting, having the admin look at it right now.


as far as the few posts lost, that happened to posts that were posted after we moved the site over, and before the domain got pointed to the new server.
anything posted between this period (a few hours it takes for the new company to update it's database) have been lost.


A few posts out of the 166000+, i still think the move went really well and your users will be very happy with the new server.
