BB Montoya was stong all weekend, they are on a roll right now. Both Fusion teams looked good, the 14u getting the better of the 16u. I didn't see the game, but I bet it was good. Heat, Glory and Rapid Fire made good showings as well.

Without getting into the bracket draw discussion ? Just kidding, a little, it all worked out in the end. There were some very mismatched teams until Sat afternoon, but those lopsided games are fun to try new things.

I have to give props to the top finishers though.
We knew BB were deep on talent and they're proving it. The speedy 2B has a very bright future ahead of her along with several of his girls.
I wish I could have seen the 14 Fusion play, but to place as high as they did speaks for itself.
The 16 Fusion pitcher (Ali) had a killer rise ball that truly rose. Problem was, she had no tell it was coming. And it's always a good thing to keep their lead off in the dugout. Speed kills.

That's what stood out to me this weekend.
