Anyone else want to let the softball community know what is going on inside their teams?

Jumbo why wait till fall? You see were only 10 deep and we won't barrow from another team man I shouldn't of said that

I have reasons to wait. You hit on the two points that some of us are talking about, quietly....shhhhh. Although all your girls are obviously top notch players, there are only 10 that I could see. Maybe a couple more on the roster this fall will help and to your other point we have talent sitting on our bench while other players are brought in for big tournaments to play. I and others won't leave during the season but there will come a time my friend.

Funny stuff! Smash is a good team regardless and have been strong for some time now. but come on style smash borrowed a player last season to play in so cal!

Coaching a very good team is much harder than coaching a weak team. Good teams have huge expectations, and there is normally only one place to go.

Every loss is magnified, parents want to blame people when they lose, you have a pretty good player that doesnt get as much PT as they want. It is very difficult and takes a coach that has some special skills.

Good luck to the 14u teams that are in that category. Enjoy the season... it goes by really fast.

Yea your right we did but we only had one pitch in my daughter we didn't have two and I was one of the parent that was like you better get another one cause mine can't do it alone. I don't think jumbo is on the wagon nor do I think it's poison I think last weekend opened his eyes

I would just like to say I'm a proud parent from the blue and black team but there is no doubt in my mind Smash kicked our butt at MDC, 11-5. Went on to win, what a fantastic team. Smash coach, you might have some talent knocking at your door come fall. Don't pay attention to the Dude that pulls the little blue wagon for our team, he always has something to say about other teams.

Ooh! That hurt. So listen, smash many like myself has been watching you guys got a while. For softballs sake I was becoming a fan. U guys have a great team but I said it before we need to try and build this game up to gain popularity to get back into Olympics . Unfortunately you parents just don't want to get it. you parents attitude is horrible and it's why I withdrawal my vote. Call it pride but many like me percieve it as boadtfulness.Being boastful refers to self-applause showing that the proud person wants the elevated view he has of himself to be shared with others. In applauding oneself, praise is being sought from those who hear. The proud person wants others to see, hear, and acknowledge his accomplishments. Those accomplishments are not yours, it's your daughters. Let others talk trash and show it on the field. The fact that you parents continue to bash any team of children whoever competes with your daughters team on a forum is no different than saying it to them directly IMO. Do you guys really think colleges don't read these forums? I know for a fact they read my eldest daughters Facebook when recruiting her. They also look at the parents folks! From what I see the blue team, both purple orgs or red white and blues don't do this. Call it what it what you want but it's boastfulness and offensive to whomever rivals their integrity and shows much to learn about your own. Don't get upset at this just chew on it and you will hear what I'm saying. Just MHO

Wow! What a bunch of bullies!!! If you honestly think HB is all about cyber bullying a team of 13 & 14 yr-old girls, you are out of you f*cken’ mind! Show your DD what you are posting on this thread “to get reactions” and see if she thinks this is funny. If you have a personal problem with a specific parent, have the balls to handle it face to face instead of hiding behind multiple monikers like a coward.

I have been a SMASH ’98 fan for a while now, but now I’m completely disappointed. The heads of your org and your ’98 players have worked too hard to get the SMASH brand on the map. But the immature, mean-spirited posts the adult bullies in your team are creating on this site is sickening. You are a disgrace to your organization! Do us all a favor, dig deep and handle your personal insecurities off of this public forum and quit tearing down the hard work that the few in your org have worked so hard to accomplish!

Thank you bmx/big yellow for shining some light on some of these people. If you still don't believe it's happening in your org you probably are in denial. For the record again, never had a problem with Smash team, good bunch of girls. The parents on the other hand are out of line and I'm surprised the coaches and powers that be haven't gotten on to just put an end to this trash talking. Let's leave on the field and play ball.

For some of you who denounce these kind of trash talking one minute and then contribute to the madness the next don't necessarily help the situation.

What should be about the girls and the outstanding job some of the NorCal teams did down south has been overshadowed by some knuckleheads. What happen to the early talk of NorCal orgs supporting each other. I guess all that is lost once one team does better than the other and now it's a look what my team did so shine the spotlight on me kind of thing.
