What 10U teams are going to stand out this year?

by circuittech » Wed May 09, 2012 2:36 pm

I agree with everything you stated above gator coach. I don't agree with the two statements below not that it matters. My point is good teams win indoors and out not one or the other. Good luck everyone this weekend going to see some good competition. :D

likeitornot I have to agree with gator on this one. I've seen some teams dominate indoor and get the false sense of being unbeatable only to get outside and look slow and messy. I think indoor is good practice tool but not a good judge of a teams ability. The ball travels and bounces different indoors and is a lot faster.

crazy legs
I would like other opinions on playing indoors I guess I believe it's better than nothing but as far as taking results to serious I probably wouldn't. Places like Lafayette where the net is so close In right field I believe a line drive to right field that could be a single or double bounces off net and could be an out at first. It's seem to me a team that plays indoors a lot could almost be indoor experts and not do as well outside I also prefer sportszone to Lafayette just because its a bigger field not trying to knock Lafayette they do the best they can with what they have but with the short right field I would think it could really change the game like I said better than playing in the snow I just don't thInk the best team always wins beating the magic who Play there all the time is a lot harder inside than out what does everyone else think

My daughter is playing in Greenwood Gators, Bombers, Magic will be there I was Just wondering if anyone has played the Irish or center grove crush this year or have seen them play I've heard of both just not aware how they are doing this year also curious where the Edge and Mafia Black tc extreme and so on will be. Actually thought this might help get back on topic looks like we could start a new thread about the whole indoor outdoor thing.

Twosdad,

We (TC Xtreme) will be in Crown Point this weekend with Team Oak Stars, Oak Park Windmills, NWI Sox, Indiana Raiders Silver, Spartans, Lazers and Chesterton. Team Oak has been winning in Illinois, Oak Park has been winning, and the White Sox have been winning. Should be very competative with a good field. The tournament is in memory of a good man from Crown Point that lost his battle with cancer a few years ago. Having a couple Crown Point parents on the team, with the passing of players' and coaches close relatives over the last 7-days brings the reality of life to the forefront.

Good luck to everyone this weekend.

Tcxtreme I'm sorry to hear about the loss of those who have passed. I know it's easy for people to lose sight of whats really important with the desire for wins and wanting their daughters to perform well. My daughters mom I guess you could say twosmom is recovering from breast cancer she had a bilateral mastectomy in January and a hysterectomy and her overies removed a couple weeks ago. That said I think we are lucky everything appears to be under control now but for awhile I was imaging raising a sad little girl by myself. So this weekend I think we all need to realize that while it's important for the girls to compete hard and work for a victory whats more important is the time we spend with them.

Oak park is a very solid team but they did tie for 5th in a tourney your girls won in march in Lafayette. I realize that was inside a couple months ago. O wait I didn't just suggest that playing inside Might be different than outside for a team that doesn't play inside often did I. I don't want to get that started again. Staying out of that discussion.

That was pool play right? Looks like in bracket it was 12-0 according to the brackets? Correct?
