Arnaiz fields

I had an talk with the so called Nazi there today He run the fields and the upkeep of the fields. Everything the is paid for by the money from the snack bar. You couldn't ask for a nicer set of fields at good price at the snack bar. Also like to thank Debbie Nelson for the clinic for the girls great job

For the first time ever, I had a team at BLD in manteca. i dont ever want to hear a complaint about Arnaiz after being at this place. They check EVERY bag like you are going through the airport screening. 5 bucks for coaches to get in, 3.50 for a bag of seeds. That place sucks, and that is just a reinforcement of why I have never taken, and never will take one of my teams to that place.

I personally like Arnaiz. Only issue is no warm up space. But fields are good, snack bar is pretty good, and the parking lot always has my cooler waiting for me.

Not to mention that he finally put netting up to correct that foul ball problem, that was pretty dangerous for awhile. Arnaiz and Rainbow are best local fields IMO.

It wasnt "He," that did anything in regards to the fences. the GSJSA board got that ball rolling and then paid for the fences along with the orgs that use those fields for tourneys.

For baseball tournaments (only been there with my son's teams) it's $3 to get in, so it's a dollar more when my wife, son, and myself go versus Arnaiz. You get a dollar back at the snack bar so as I cannibalize three tokens my pint that I am going to purchase just got cheaper. Arnaiz is $4 and no money back. No beer. No inside seating (we seem to get night games in February).

Neither park checks your back pocket.

How much is water at BLD. Water is only 1.00 hotdogs are only 250. Good menu. Cheap prices. BLD is expensive for all the menu

Again at either place if you must adhere to a budget/diet tailgate. People do it in both places. Yes food is more expensive at BLD. I'm not buying water at BLD (hence all the beer references).

The only reason they don't check bags at all the other parks is because they can't. It's usually city owned property that you're paying a gate for.

Arnaiz grades for RR Tournament.

Field Conditions-----------D
(Fields were not chalked almost all day, both day's. They were watered but not smoothed out between games very well if at all. The RR vs. Smash game had to be stopped because the Smash coaches and pitcher figured out the pitching rubber was not correct. No telling how long that was incorrect or if the other fields were checked.)
