Fastpitch360, you make some good points in your observations. Sounds as though you have been to the ball park a fair amount. I wont come on here and speculate as to who will and wont qualify for gold nationals other than one team. Texas Glory Gold (Adkins) will be there. I can assure you that Kyle strickland and our coaching staff are working this team harder than we have ever worked a gold squad to insure that we are ready to qualify. We have yet to play a real game together but I know what we have and am confident that we will get it done. Now, I am done with predictions! Let's all hope the weather is good for the next 6 weeks so that we can all showcase our teams and help these young ladies secure the scholarship offers that they have all been working hard to get. We will play NRH next weekend for our first tourney, the journey begins!

I would like to sincerely like to apologize to Dapper Dan and all his Glory teams, I guess Dapper Dan set me straight. Put it in 3" headlines All 5 of the Texas Glory Gold teams will make it to Gold Nationals because they work hard. Hell what do I know I live in Georgia.

Krusiers If they keep it small they have a good chance of being a nice organization with lots of the areas top teams now playin under their name. (affiliated)
360 - isn't it spelled Kruzers and how many teams do they have now? I only count 3?

Fp360, not sure what your reading but I will try to clear it up for you. As I said earlier, I am not speaking for the other Glory teams, Kevin Shelton is handling all of the other Glory teams. I am coaching the Glory Gold (Adkins) team only. When I said we will qualify for gold I meant this one team. The other teams will have to speak and prepare for themselves. It would be foolish to think that all 5 Glory teams will qualify. I think there is a realistic chance to get 2 or possibly 3 of them qualified.
As for Glory Days...I love that song! As long as we continue to have kids get their college scholarships the GLORY DAYS will remain. 2009 has been our strongest year ever with 24 players (2009 graduates) getting ready to sign. We have a total of 74 players in our alumni section with at least 8-10 more 2009 graduates yet to commit. As long as this continues to happen...and it will...these are my GLORY Days!
