Same story, different day. We have the regulars in the same tournament:
BB- Montoya
Glory- Elliott
Glory 94
Fusion- both teams
American Freedom
Elite- Floyd
Round Rock Crush (new to our regulars)

However, we have some newer contenders that I'm excited to see how they do- TX Heat & Mesquite Angels.

Some of these teams are anxious to try out their new additions, albeit re-cycled additions.

Teams are the same, but with a few different faces. A preview of dominance for 2009 in North Texas perhaps?

Uno...North Texas with a few from Waco, Austin, East Texas, most moving up from 14U.

Now, back to softball...80 degrees, sunshine, and softball in Southlake this weekend! As the folks from Oklahoma like to say, "It don't get no better".

No telling what happens in fall ball because of volleyball, homecoming, etc. Also, some of the same team names, but totally different teams. Some like the Glory 94 and Fusion 16u have had some of their stars move up or to new teams. The Texas Glory - Elliot and AF are mostly new lineups I think. Also, looks like the bracket is heavily weighted at the bottom with not much in the top half. Fusion 14u has a cake walk to Sunday. In the end, the Fusion 16u is the only proven top North Texas 16u team playing this weekend: the Texas Traveler's - Splash, Texas Elite - Mongillo, FW Batbusters - McClaskey, etc. are playing 18u or taking the week off.
