That is more runs than I expected to be scored in that game. Better luck next time.

Alvin 7
Pearland 3

:( :(

Maybe next time?

It was a really good game. Alvin capalized on a few mistakes from Pearlands defense and they had a couple of BIG 2 out hits with runners in scoring position. Really good game though!!! The teams coming out of this District will be battle tested that is for sure. Alvin, Braoswood, Clear Brook and Pearland all in same District!!! Should make these team ready for the playoffs. I'm pretty sure the re-match in Pearland will more than likely crown District Champ.

Yes I was there with my dad. We stood by concession stand so i didn't play sides. Not making any excuses but umpiring was tight in the beginning and Alvin made adjustments quicker than Pearland. The walks early hurt #1 and Pearland was really agressive early in their ab's. Alvin was VERY agressive on the bases when #1 thru her off speed stuff making her more predictable because coach wouldnt throw off speed anymore. Alvin can hit so it worked in there favor because stikezone was small. Then the errors Really hurt which seperated the score. Pearland will be in the hunt when it counts and that is when it matters. No doubt one of the tougher districts and that will help come playoff time. Didn't undestand thinking at the end of game because Pearland started being disciplined at the plate and she just started subing for everyone once she started getting traffic on the
bases??? I was very happy on the way #21 (alvin) swung the bat though. I w.as happy for her being she played for me last year. Enjoyed watching a game with a lot of athletes playing.

I would be very suprised if any games take place tonight in the Houston and surrounding areas. Enough with the rain already, my grass is already GREEN and growing to fast. Hope to get out this Friday evening to see some softball!!
