Coaching is everything at young ages. Kids that can LEARN the game at 10-13 have a major advantage over others.
Smarts goes a LONG way towards being a complete player.

This is a great year for 14s. It will be very interesting when high school is over. I cant wait to watch some great games this spring. IMO there is not one dominating team. The 14s will just get better with the level of competition the 98s are bringing.

Will be fun to see how they and all the other HS 97's shake things up when they return. And how well/quickly they can adjust back to 40ft.

I agree. There is going to be some great games played in the 14u division this season. Some of these teams would be halfway decent 16u teams now (even with their 98's).

Well said Corey. I once heard a wise coach say that they have to become students of the game as they get older.

San Jose Lady Sharks - Randall have to be up in the rankings. A very solid core that have been together for years. They keep getting bigger, faster, stronger. The bats and gloves are exceptional. Incoming pitching from the High schoolers should be the difference maker. Coaching has proven track record. 20+ years college and high school experience. On paper looks unbelievable.

My Lady Hornets are finished as of last weekend. Tournament play looks light this weekend. Where are the top 14's playing? Thank you.
