Son or DBM..

Sensitive?? Maybe. It is not easy to put on a tournament/showcase. Lots of hours go into it. To be honest, I am more pissed off at the teams that left on Saturday without saying one word. Having to redo schedules several times because a coach is to inconsiderate to make a one minute phone call...well that is a dickhead move.

As for my supposed threat, sorry you took it that way. It was not meant to be as how would I ever know what team you are on since you all post under anonymous names. I just know that I would not want one of my parents on here posting the kind of crap that you and dodgerblue posted - especially just to get people all riled up. You are right...freedom of speech is still part of the constitution. I just responded to all the complaints and BS. Never called anyone a name...not once!! I have no idea who anyone is on this site to be honest. I, for one, think that families that are committed to travel ball are good people who have their daughters best interest at heart.

As for your award for the Heybucket dickhead of the week....just send us your name and address and I am sure Numerouno will send you a T-Shirt. We can set up the award ceremony this coming weekend at the Last Chance Tourney in Hemet :D :lol: ;)

{I could not agree more, secondly, I believe it sends the wrong message to the girls. However, this action reflects my position, and quite a few others. JMO.. they did not handle this correctly, and that would frustrate me also. I understand the dilemma regarding the teams who traveled...that is a tough one! Your right, I do not know exactly how much work gos into a putting on a tourney, and I commend you for your role! }

{ If you are going to point a jugemental and condescending finger, you my want choose your verbage a little more carefully, as I still do not understand how you get "crap" from my post's? Strong position maybe, but crap? Just as you and others have taken very " strong " positions in your opinions. Are they " crap" ? It comes of " as holier then thou".}

{I would like to agree that "most" are in it for the right reasons and plenty are but, recent experience's would suggest that a large group have degenerated to very selfish and self concerned positions. }

Good one, I would like that very much!

If you go back, I stated that you guys have put on the best tourneys/showcase's but, no one commented on that, just jumped all over the comments that were contrary to there own. Even monkeys fall out of trees sometimes JMO.

Actually DBM, I don't really remember many of your posts so I guess that is a good thing. I can't say too much against you. I guess it struck a nerve when you said
"Yahhh.... 200 bucks per game for a glorified friendly... well worth it! Sota had five? the koolaid has been good to him. I call bulls#it card."

I was very appreciative of Sota picking up the extra games in such short notice. I guess most of my post was more directed to dodgerblue who succeeded in getting my riled up. If you know me, then you know I do not mean to come off as "holier than thou" as I do this for the love of the game and for the girls. I have not had a daughter playing travel ball for several years now and yet I remain very active wearing many different hats including Explosion, So Cals Finest, PGF and ESPN. I love this game and continue to try and help as many young ladies become student athletesas I can. I know that there are always detractors everywhere you go and I guess I was just a little testy when it comes to complaints. It isn't the first time I have reacted and won't be the last either.

Am I always right?? Of course.....not. :D

PS - I will have Numerouno bring me a T-shirt for you this coming weekend. Stop by the tournament directors tent and pick it up. Just need to tell me what size you wear :D

JMO, I get it. You seem be a good guy, and you put yourself out there for this event and others! Sometimes the " crap " just comes to me :mrgreen: .... and at times, it can be a curse! I do appreciate the time and energy put forth by all involved with SO CAL.

LETS CHANGE THE CHANNEL :D

Another feeble and pathetic attempt at a comeback by..... THE " FARM TEAM" And tell what he's woooonnnn.... Johnny, well "farm team boy" you have won a new "real" sense of humor, a new broadened vocabulary and a second shot at graduating high school! Oh and a shot at re-posting something that is even mildly mentally stimulating on any level and or relevant in any way to the topic.

If you cant keep up with the witt, sarcasm, or simple struture of the topic and can only post pre- pubescent dumbass vulgar crap .....best off not to join in.

Dude... what are we 14?

You edited out the crack about special needs kids, so my comment doesnt seem to be in context now. As for being 14, my 14 yr old can make an intelligent argument without resorting to a thoughtless, classless, pre-pubescent comment like you did.

When you are done digging out of the hole you made, please crawl back under your rock.

"THE FARM TEAM BOY" on his 3000 post brought a good laugh out of me today. It was sort of nice to feel like an eighth/ninth grader again.
