Okay Tony. I'm confused on this stud pitcher on your Firecracker team. Is she also on a 16u team's roster also....? Impulse....? Played RM with them. What's up?

If its all about getting better, why bring in a temp pitcher for early spring, and loose her before qualifying. The better teams/orgs build during spring to prepair for qualifiers. Why would the stud top 3 or 4 players (that are just picking where the they want to play in college) tie their wagons to a temp pitcher? Answer that diamondbiotch. I'm not knocking this young pitcher...she needs to play and get her innings in for her 16 u team's sake when they pull together in May. She needs to pitch against the top teams/hitters for it to worth it for her to get better. Just say it the way it is.....stop blowing smoke up our skirts.

Maybe I'm missing something here but in one breath you say that she needs to play and get her innings in yet in another you appear to criticize the team that's picking her up? What's the girl to do?

Why do you even care?

Why you worried about who is playing for the Firecrackers? Your only trying to instigate. I know for a fact they have a great bunch of girls who are more than capable to play at the highest level with or without the "stud" pitcher. Are you of the philosophy that one player can win tournaments, or lose for that matter? They have not played a tournament this year and already all this talking about this team. Should be interesting when they lose, or if they do win what will be said.

Wouldn't it just be better if we all worried about our own teams and helping our girls to be the best they can be? We have friends on several of our daughters main competitors teams and plan on keeping it that way. Aren't we really all in there for the girls? Come on Spring.

Hi Tony.

How much pitching time will your "championship" roster players get during the spring? Are you allowing them time to develop and getting them ready for championship play?

I believe this just increases the chances of them not being the best in August at the most crucial time for your team. I am sure your pitchers are just thrilled at the prospect of losing mound time during the spring. Hopefully, you do not lose anybody over this.

Guys, guys,

We haven't played a game yet. Rode everybody has their own theory on how to run a team and I respect your thinking. But to answer your question we only have 3 pitchers and a 4th that will pitch part time. That includes the pick up. Not sure how everybody's schedule is around here but we play a ton. Not many VTD tournaments but starting late Feb we will be playing just about every weekend so there will be plenty of pitching time to go around so suffice to say I'm not worried about them being ready for Nationals. I actually see it as big plus having her ony team. Again that is my theory. I believe to get better you have to play a lot. You cannot duplicate game speed during practice. Cal teams are already getting ready to play tournaments in a few weeks. If I knew the weather was going to be this great we'd be playing this weekend.

Obviously you don't know me. I know that when we decided to take the pitcher as a pick up that we would get hammered on here but that's just the way things are which really I don't understand but to each his own. I you know ne a little I have had year in and year have parents come up to me and can't daughter work put with your team and I say with a smile sure bring her and maybe the little that we know can rub off or better yet that girl can being something to the table that our girls can learn from or I can learn from. We never stopped learning. So when this pitchers parents mentioned this to me I accepted in a heart beat. My daughter worked out with FC Brashears team last year while visiting Cali and somebody wants work out with us and I am able to do it why not? I don't understand. There's things here that ate bigger us, bigger than a trophy, bigger than a National championship that we are all apart of. One huge thing is the development of these young ladies that love a sport just like I do. I've been blessed to be a coach like they say not a great coach on here but hey the little that I know I would love to pass it on to each and every girl that passes through our program. I have given just about every girl a chance to be on our team that comes to our tryouts and with those same girls we have been fairly successful.

Again I don't understand these questions. You guys can continue to post on here all you want but here is the answer to all your questions. I love the sport and if I could I would not deny any girls playing on my team. Win or lose I want to make sure these girls are ready for softball at the next level or life itself. Because these young ladies is why we put up with all of this. Our daughters future whatever if maybe is bigger than what they do on the softball field.

Remember guys this is just an outlet to enjoy our daughters growing up. The years are flying by and our girls are getting older, lets enjoy them.

What business is it of yours what his team does? We will be playing this team come the spring and we don't care if they have Verlander pitching. How about you quit whining about a team you aren't affiliated with, put on your big girl panties, and let your kid play the game while you shut it?
