Tim Timmons passed away last night with cancer. We honor you Tim for all your devotion to the game of softball and to the multitude of softball players you have helped.

It is with the utmost gratitude to have been a part of his life and regret that this entry must be made. Tim Timmons died last night (Jan. 8, 2012) from cancer. If a person can effect just one other person for good then a legacy has been started and the ripple effect for future good can be immense. I don’t think anyone knows how many thousands of athletes came through Tim’s influence but the ripple effect is really more like a tidal wave. Tim was one of softball’s biggest supporters and best teachers of the game. Anyone who came into Tim’s life at some point says “Tim’s the best”. I don’t think I can improve on that simple thought.

Just found out, my kid's pitching coach worked for Coach Tim before and was going to pass her off to him when my kid moves to Houston. Sad news.

RIP Tim. Seems hard to believe that it has been over 30 years since he landed in Pasadena.

Funeral Services for Tim will be held this Saturday at Creekside Christian fellowship 16628 Hwy 36 , Needville, Texas 77461. Viewing at 3:00 service will start at 4:00
