Like I said...once you beat all of the local teams you have to travel to play the best. Until then, play local.

Getting back to my original post I'll give my top 6. This is based on who we played and who we saw during the past year and as teams pick up and lose players could obviously change.

In no particular order:

'01 Texas Bombers (our team)
Texas Shock 01
Texas Glory Adkins 01 (Kaderka)
Texas Styx White
Katy Cobras
Miken Stingers 01

Enjoy the ride. All this will be mute in 6 years. Put your DD where she can progress and learn the game. That is what it is all about and yes guys this is coming from the guy that has traveled all over the country to play the best of the best. Teach your DD's to work hard and that everything doesn't come without putting in the work. We have all been where you are at, so enjoy the ride because it will have it's ups and downs. Make it fun for your DD or she will grow to love another sport and drop softball all together.

This is exactly why she plays TB, so she can learn the game and play against better competition. I stress to my DD that she has to work hard and keep a positive attitude if she wants to keep up. We all worry about "burnout" but as long as they're having fun they likely won't get burned out. Personally, I have more trouble with my DD getting her to take a break occasionally.

Burnout.... Seriously.
The kids are 9-10 years old. Let them attend birthday parties and have fun. Who cares about burn out at 10. We have been doing this since 10, now on our 2nd year of gold ball. Burn out will not set in till travel and hs ball start going. They get tired of not having a life and seeing all their friends chill, hang out, party.
On the topic... It is 10U ball most are still learning how to catch a fly ball.

Texas Glory 01 (Kaderka)

Please do not associate us with Texas Glory 01.
We are Texas Glory ADKINS 01 (Kaderka).
Sorry just don't want anyone thinking we are part of that other organization.
I think the parents from the rest of the teams in the Adkins organization would agree that we are proud to wear the cursive red and black!

Sorry, I didn't realize there was a copy cat. I'm sure it is your team I refer to which we played back in the Fall. I edited my post to reflect that. Hope to see yall at the Bomber Shootout in March!

Obviously you haven't watched the level of 10U we play and play against. The talent level is much higher than people realize.

I also heard there is a new 01 team in DFW that has some of Kaderka's old players & some of 01 Shock's players. If that is true and they have pitching, they will be competitive.

Poppycock. The Adkins nation is as strong as ever in all age groups. When your team is getting steamrolled, listen for the chant.

ADKINS! ADKINS! ADKINS!
