Very Sad News - Please Read!

by hotwheels » Wed Nov 30, 2011 11:24 am

Domonique Monae Matlock, was 19 years old, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 27th, 2011. Domonique is the middle child of the three daughters to Regina Matlock. Regina is the manager of So. Cal Mirage and has been part of the travelball community for over 10years and has generously given her time and commitment to help players reach their goals and dreams. Regina now needs our help. Regina is a single parent which after finding out about her daughters condition, had never left her side for the past three months; not even leaving to go to work. Domomique returned from her studies in India with an unknown condition which to this day has doctors stumped. Her doctors thought her health was stable enough to release her to go home a week ago, but sadly she wasn't quite ready. It was at home where she passed during the night. Unfortunately, Regina was under the impression that her insurance benefits through her job covered both her and her children in the case of something like this happening, but Domonique is not covered. We have put this link together to help raise money for the burial cost for Domonique. Her last request was to have a tree burial and to become one with the earth. Anything donattion towards the expenses will be gratefully appreciated. No parent should have to worry about how they are going to bury their child. Please help if you can....

If you are not able to help at this time we also understand. You may also contact us by phone at (909)482-1383 or at my mother's home address which is as follows 1044 Ashfield Ave., Pomona, CA 91767. Thank for all the prayers, love and support.

The link below allows you to donate to the burial fund online.

Our family's hearts and prayers go out to Regina and her family! Older two dd's had the privilege of playing rec ball with her kids in Walnut from '00 thru '04. Very sad and tragic news for such a wonderful person and family to deal with! I wish we could do more! I urge others to help a family who would (without questions) do the same for another family in need of help at a time like this.
