what do these have in common. It is not ASA... while SOME of them may still call an occasional ASA Tournament they do not. I would not lump these guys in with ASA...
All Blues will make mistakes it is normal. We don't expect them to be perfect.
It is when they are Unapproachable, do not pay attention, they do not know the rules, they DO NOT CARE!!

I have noticed the caliber of umps go down since ASA/ VTD split. I do not know why.
I will say there are still some VTD parks that have Overall Good Umpires, funny think those are the ones that STILL call ASA.

So to all you BLUES who still call a fair game this is not directed at you... There are still plenty of you out there... Just seems you aren't at these other parks.

I know GARLAND had another horrible time with umpires this past weekend. I know we now look at tournaments based on how we are treated by the umpires. The list of parks we prefer not to play at is now 2...and most likely growing. No excuse for some of these Blues behavior!

Interesting...?

Garland and Forney are manned by ASA umps, Southlake has the same Blues as Keller and NRH, mostly ASA trained...

Worst ASA Homer "in no specific order": douchedouche

We were in Garland this weekend and played 6 games with no issues. Unless you want to talk specifics, this sounds like nothing more than an excuse for going home earlier than you had hoped.

Well if you could read Miles you would see I did not put those other parks down...hmmm maybe because they are good???

If you could read between the lines you would see that there is a specific person in charge of these other parks. The umpires are taking on his attitude. Not sure if he is over the ones not mentioned. If he is then well God Bless those Umps for not assuming his attitude.

I know they are ASA trained you dip!! But how many of them still call ASA? My point is some parks are not staying on top of the umps.

I may have been in Garland playing and I may not have been... you don't know.

I may be an ASA homer. I prefer to play ASA especially for the older DD. We still play VTD and there are several VTD parks we enjoy playing at. It isn't and ASA or VTD thing. It is an umpire thing. Trying to point that out....

Here's the deal Miles...Danny (douchedouche) just can't stand the fact that his beloved ASA in Mansfield rountinely gets its clocked clean when it comes to hosting tournamernts in DFW. In the old days, GG and Austin used to protect these parks by limiting access to the parks the folks actually want to play at. Those days are long gone and Danny just can't get over it...

Your point is well taken due to your eloquent writing style. My statement was to counter your claim and say that after playing there this past weekend we ran into no issues. If you're going to get on a message board and offer your opinion on the 3 worst places for umpires yet offer no specifics at all besides an obvious grudge against the person in charge, it really holds no credibility at all. Maybe they were bad when you were there, maybe there were good when you weren't there. IMO, all it looks like you're doing here is throwing out unsubstantiated claims which is your right of course, but all it really comes off of to me, is whining.
