I've been reading these message boards for about 2 years now but never posted anything because I never had cause to. The comment above calling out the Firecrackers has caused me to finally do so. My daughter has played against this team since they were the Shadows back in 10U and all of them would start for any team in NTX. Anyone who says that they are not worth the hype is an uneducated malcontent who obviously has an ax to grind with them.

Anyone who says that coaching is not a major factor to a team's success is also uneducated in how the game is played and probably never got past 8th grade rec ball. I'd say that the Mavericks and Rangers didn't have the best players in their respective leagues but outstanding coaching brought them together to get the job done.

Calling out a kid like was done is more evidence of the unhappiness that you must feel from a past experience with them.

They are a very good team and to say anything less than that is just nonsense. Shame on your sad life to post such dribble on here about a child.

Ive gone thru here and noticed that theres an awful lot of braggin on a team that hasnt done anything yet??? FC 98??? really??? why does it always come down to someone being "bitter" because they were former players or on a team that got beat by you????

but thats just it....THE GIRLS are athletes - its not the coaching - the girls carry this team - and would do it if Sponge Bob coached 3rd and Daffy Duck coached 1st.....either way....they are capable of getting the job done - with NO THANKS to the coaches....

and EVERYONE who is ANYONE on heybucket knows that the Shadows, I mean Mizuno, woops! I meant to say Fusion, %&$*( I really mean Firecrackers coach has like 10 different alias' on here and loves to brag on FC and start arguments with himself!

and one more thing - has anyone ever noticed that FC never finishes? they consistently place 4th, or 6th, or 9th...or 3rd....yes - agree that they are in competitive tournaments - but hardly competing.....

Nope...never ever been cut-wouldn't allow my kid to play for such a team that jumps around

Ever notice they don't finish first or second? More like 6th or 9th? It's cause they quit! Why? Cause their coaches don't coach to finish!

My DD does not play for the Firecrackers but I do have nothing but respect for that team & its coaches. I would say her teams name but at this point it would be unfair to have you and a few others throw them under the bus. Since your such the detective, you will read that Im a big fan of my DD and the game itself. When she's not playing we do pick up just like most. This has allowed us to meet quite a few people and watch alot of ball. With that being said I must have a daughter on Glory Allen & BB Rhine as I have spoken highly of those teams as well...

It just blows my mind to hear or read about PARENTS talking about a kid in such a negative way. I hope you find some peace within and not let a 13 yr old on a new team be such a driving force for hate.

Like Frito is trying to tell you, do yourself and your daughter a favor quit before you completely close all doors for your daughter. It is obvious your were cut by this team. You calling out this girl, that you probably feel took your daughter's spot, and calling out the coaches that, quit in these big tournaments, is a dead giveaway that you were on this team. Everybody on this FC team and other teams in this age group or older age groups know exactly who you are.

I'm sure if your daughter was on this team she is an awesome softball player and great kid so please do not close any doors for her. I'm sure she has a bright future in softball. Please let it go and move forward it's not the end of the world. There is plenty of good teams and better coaches I am sure.

Classic case of "Please drop off your daughter at practice or tournaments and come back when it's all over parent!".
