No you don't.....by the way just got back from surfing in Huntington Beach and it was sure a glorious day....also worked on my tan.....by the way did you guys get any more snow?

The more, the better. I feel sorry for you folks that don't get it.

Don't be sorry. We get to drive an hour, play in it all day, come home and don't have to shovel the sidewalk.

Who shovels the sidewalks or driveway? I just wear the appropriate clothing and walk or drive through it. No big deal. You have to drive and spend fuel and time while I can just walk out my front door and there it is.

The only time I have enjoyed CA was when driving to Tahoe, NV from San Fran. which was okay if you like that type of place

6" + for us in northern NJ. Shoveled the walk 3 times yesterday and the driveway twice this morning as the snow plow plows in the driveway clearning the street.

Oh by the way, when it snows and there are still leaves on the trees, limbs get heavy and fall, bringing down power lines. No power from 1PM yesterday until about an hour ago.

It was a tad nippy in the house last night without heat (it did stay above 50 degress and no frozen pipes thankfully).

You SoCal guys don't generally have to be concerned with pipes freezing, SPF on the suncreen maybe.

Went surfing again this morning at Sunset Beach....had to dig my way thru the sands to get to the shores....quite hot with the sun beating on my back...had to have a few beers to quench my thirst......by the way is it still snowing back east?

Wow, sucks to be you. Dealing with melanoma and other issues while we sit snug as a bug with our loved ones in front of a nice fire.

I don't understand why Californians think that because they enjoy a certain constant weather environment, everyone else is jealous.

If you could actually realize a life outside your own, you would see there are quite a few people that just do not enjoy your environment. Don't worry, you are not alone. Many in Florida have the same attitude and IMO is like CA. Great place to visit, have turned down jobs that required me to live there.

We played 3 games in 75 degree weather yesterday.....Came home and had the fireplace on at night....Born and raised in Michigan, love the snow, but love playing softball outdoors year round more.......

Have been without power since mid saturday- currently showering and washing clothes at my mother in law"s

If we choose to shovel our sidewalks, at least we don't have to watch out for alligators ... But according to most native Virginians there is a black copperheaded rattlin' mocasin that is on the prowl ...
